Hello Splinterlands lovers!

I hope all of you are currently enjoying the game with the newly introduced Conclave Arcana Cards in your lineup, especially if you are playing the modern format. This latest edition packs first appeared at the Conclave Arcana presale, where 3 different types of CA packs - Standard, Alchemy and legendary packs were on sale with limited count. Those who bought a bulk amount of packs got rewarded with exclusive promo cards, titles, etc and now that the general sale has also begun from May 13th onwards, there's no barrier now to fill your Splinterlands collection with these latest cards.

Now I know many of you have participated in the presale and bought packs. Gladly, I had also joined the presale and bought a total of 834 Alchemy packs in a group, in which, I had a total share of 417 Alchemy packs. Anyway, I have also opened all my packs and lately been sharing about my Back foil cards one by one. From my Alchemy pack lot, I got lucky enough to receive 6 Black Foil cards, among which I have already shared about 3 CA monsters so far and in today’s post, I will be showcasing my 4th Black Card, the ANYU HUNTSWOMAN. So, if you have already got this CA monster in your collection or have faced it playing against you on the battlefield, let’s take a dive to find more in detail about this monster below, without any further ado.

Anyu Huntswoman

Anyu Huntswoman is a deadly defender who can be a final choice to your front lineup position. As showcased in the picture shared above, this monster is well trained to endure all types of attacks and stay alive for some time, even in the worst conditions, enough time for your rear attackers to do their job. Not only that, its heavy health + shield combo is almost impenetrable and will take multiple big attacks to take it down.

Now, looking at this monster, by type, it is a rare card, so you will need a total of 115 BCXs of cards in regular foil and 22 BCXs of cards in gold foil to upgrade this card to its maximum level. However, as I have got this card as a Black foil, it has come directly as a Max level card out of the pack. Moving on, as we can see from the screenshot above, this monster belongs to the Neutral element, which means that you can get to use this card while choosing any element, if allowed by the match rulesets.

In order to select this card in your line-up, it would cost 7 mana, so you can use this card easily in high mana limit matches. Now looking at its spear power, its attack type is melee and it comes with a big health + Armour combo which can withstand many attacks, whereas it also has a good speed, so expect it to launch an attack before all these lazy monsters out there with low speed. So definitely, this card is a good fit for large mana limit matches - at least 30 mana and above and should be placed at the front defence.

Now, I have a max level Anyu Huntswoman in black foil and at max level, this monster is really a deadly choice considering both its high attack power, defensive stats and awesome ability combo. If we look at the league wise breakup of this card, here are the details as stated below.

Bronze

At level 2, this monster card gets 2 melee attacks at 4 speed with 4 armour and 5 health, along with the Plank ability. Even at Bronze league level, his monster holds enough firepower to take down small monsters with one blow, while its well-fortified health + armour combo will definitely be a hard nut to crack for the opponent.

Silver

At level 4, this monster’s attack power gets increased to 3 at 4 speed with 4 armour and an increased 6 health, along with the Plank ability, but no new abilities at this level. The increased melee attack will put bigger dents even on the biggest enemy cards, while the increased health will increase your survival chance slightly.

Gold

When you successfully upgrade this tank monster to level 6, all of its stats get increased, so it now possesses 4 melee attacks at 4 speed with 5 armour and 7 health. But here also, it only carries that one ability plank. But no worries, because with the increased stats, especially more attack and health + armour, this monster certainly becomes more invincible.

Diamond / Champion

Finally, when this monster card reaches its max level of 8, it receives an increased stat of 5 melee attack at 4 speed with 6 armour and 8 health. Not only that, but it also gets a new ability finally at its max level called Void Armour. So now you get an absolute beast at just 7 mana cost, and just looking at it for once, no doubt you would always choose it in front position, whenever playing large mana limit matches.

PLANK

When a monster with this ability is in the first position, the monster at the second position gets the Reach ability. So as you can see, this monster not only takes care of your defence, but it also increases your attack power by enabling the second melee monster into an attacking reach ability card.

VOID ARMOUR

When monsters with the Void Armour ability get hit with a magic attack, the magic attack will first hit their armour before going for the health. So without a doubt, this becomes a useful choice against all type of enemy attacks, including magic.

Last but not least, this monster is a pure, powerful house of raw and heavy melee attack, while it will save you at the same time from Enemy attacks. So in medium to high mana limit matches, you can try using this monster at the front and some high attack monsters at the back to see the difference. Who knows if this monster fits the best in your hand?
