Social Media Challenge | Not too much mana and interesting rulesets! 😇

Overview
Today I brought a Brawl battle, where I got a very little mana and few interesting rules, which I do not really like personally, but we will see how it will go. 😊
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)

| Ruleset | Description |
|---|---|
| Odd Ones Out | You can only summon units with odd mana costs. |
| Equalizer | The initial health of all units is equal to that of the unit on either team with the highest base health. |
| Blood and Sunder | All units have the Corrosive Ward ability. |
The mana cap for my next battle was 17, which is not much at all and it will make very difficult to choose from, because the available monster pool will be heavily limited not just because of the low mana cap, but because of the Odd Ones Out ruleset. This ruleset will eliminate all the Even mana cost monsters, so the monster pool is halved already. 😊
The Equalizer ruleset is an interesting one, because it will increase the health of all the monsters on the battlefield to the highest one, so basically all the monsters will ahve the same amount of health, which means that it might worth to use more low mana cost monsters instead of one or two high mana cost ones. 🤗
The Blood and Sunder ruleset works like the Thorns ability, but the Corrosive Ward will reflect two damage back to the armor's of the attackers. 😁

My lineup
![]() | Thaddius Brood is an excellent Summoner, because he cost only four mana and his abilities are to decrease the health and magic attack of all the enemy monsters by one. 😊 |
| The Halfling Refugee cost only one mana and has +3 melee attack, which is absolutely amazing, but his weakness is that he has the Weary ability, so from the first round he has 10% chance, which is incrementing by another 10 every round to skip his turn. 🤗 | ![]() |
![]() | The Ironwing Juggernaut is a fresh new monster and he also has the Weary ability just like my Halfling Refugee, so I will try to use him as a second tank for the protection of my backline. He cost three mana and that is why he has +2 melee attack instead of one. 😎 |
| The Carrion Shade cost only one mana and he is more like an off-tank for me, because I wanted to protect my backline even more and give them enough time to deal more damage. He has +1 melee attack, which is something and the Flying ability, so he will be able to dodge the incoming melee and ranged attacks if he has to! 😉 | ![]() |
![]() | The Life Sapper cost three mana as well and his main and only ability is his Life Leech, which means that whenever he deals his +1 magic damage he will increase his own health by one. 😋 |
| I brought the Haunted Spider as one of my maind damage dealer, because as a ranged attacker he will be able to deal damage from the back with his +2 ranged attack. Simple as that and nothing fancy! 😇 | ![]() |
![]() | The Soul Strangler is quite a similar monster like my Spider with the same amount of damage. I just need to buy some time for them to let them do their thing, which is killing the enemy monsters. 😅 |

The Battle

My opponent brought Thaddius Brood who is a Death Summoner and his ability is to reduce the enemy health and magic damage by one. 😇
The first round didn't start good, because they quickly killed my Refugee and the enemy team already started attacking my Juggernaut.
Luckily my team also killed their tank just before the first round finished. 😉
In the second round my team killed their Grifzi while my Juggernaut was still alive, which was a good sign.
In the third round I lost my tank, but nothing else happened an in the fourth round I also lost Carrion Shade as well, so our chance to win this battle decreased quite a lot.

In the fifth round my two ranged attacker managed to deal more than enough damage to kill their Witch of Warwick who also had the Life Leech ability. 😊
The sixth round was also favorable for my team, because they killed their melee attacker with the Opportunity ability and only their Life Sapper left in their team (who had at least one attack).
Luckily the two Life Sapper couldn't do any harm to each other, but my two ranged attacker turned the tide to our favor and my team managed to win this battle for me. 😇

Battle Result

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy was to give a lot of time to my two ranged attack damage dealer at the back of my lineup while they will start killing the enemy monster. Luckily that worked perfectly and their +2 ranged attack damage was very helpful. 😇
