Time to Shift Production on Land Again For Me
High demand for Midnight potions started to dwindle, as more production is dedicated to it and more Aura is produced, and after the initial rush to open Conclave Arcana packs right after they became openable.
Now, people either are waiting to produce their own Aura or are not willing to pay as much for Midnight potions as before. And that's understandable. I would do the same if I were in the same situation.
That means the price of Midnight potions started to plummet. At the time of writing, the lowest price is $0.042 and has been pushed down significantly during recent days.
I still have 50 Midnight potions crafted and have no intention of selling them below 5 cents. My current price may be pretty high, considering the trend, but I don't intend to lower it for the time being:
Since then, I stopped crafting any more Midnight potions.
I've heard there may come more utility for Aura, so I'd rather keep the Aura for the time being rather than go through a one-directional process of creating the Midnight potions.
Moreover, seeing that the initial push for Midnight potions died out, I switched one of my plots from Aura production back to Research a few days ago.
Today, I switched one of the 2 remaining Aura plots to SPS mining, to see what kind of SPS would I get right now through mining, and what would be more profitable to focus on, given the changes, between Aura or SPS mining.
It may be too early to tell since I don't know enough about the future use cases for Aura, and what my interest will be for that (since Aura itself is not tradable).
It was good while it lasted I guess... Looking for the next thing where land will have a nice return.

Considering the price decline of the mid night portions, if you leave and not sell, is there a probability that the price would rise again?
Who knows? I would probably sell if the price bumps back up to 5 cents. If not, I will keep them, I might as well use them later.
Ok thats would be nice
Well nothing surprising, fomo is gone, packs have been opened, supply increasing... Makes sense to switch, then do some calculation
Yep, that's what I thought too. We'll see if it's worth mining SPS again if most people have Aura turned on, otherwise I'll go back to Aura, I guess.
With the raffle and auction requiring Aura I’m sure we will see a temporary uptick in prices again when people start producing those instead. In the meantime I’ll pick up some MP at these low prices!

Yeah, but they need Aura, not MP. That means soulbound and people will have to produce it themselves. You can't see it to them, unfortunately.
but you can sell the raffle tickets and auction points on the market so crafting those will add use for Aura, the more people who shut off Aura back to SPS and Research the more chance of increased value of all crafted items.
I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing! Good to know.
I thought that would happen, but I wonder what they will do to add more use cases to it. I do think that there will be some demand for it as it comes from land.
Yes, this outcome was predictable. That's why my reaction to it was also almost automated. Didn't even have to think much about it.
