Weekly HSBI Giveaway for the Splinterlands Community #10
Happy Tuesday everyone and welcome to the my weekly HSBI giveaway for the Splinterlands community!
Unfortunately I didn't get around to posting the weekly giveaway yesterday as I was very busy. But I don't think that's a bad thing, it gave you an extra day to participate. As far as I know, there was no other news worth mentioning regarding Splinterlands last week. The presale of Conclave Arcana is still running for about 12 days. In the meantime, the stats of the Conclave Arcana cards have been published in the Splinterlands Discord in the Eye-Candy Channel. I don't know if they are all the ones that are already known, but there are definitely a lot of them. But don't forget that the stats of the cards are not final and can still change.
Answers to the last Question:
Last week's question was "Which Chaos Legion card will you miss the most as soon as Chaos Legion rotates out of Modern?". This time, 14 people took part and answered the question, which is a great number for me. Let's have a look at some of your answers.
I prefer the death splinter so I’ll have to go with Cursed Windeku, the all round tank sat in front biting back at all the melee attacks while healing itself back up, great with Thaddeus Brood
Thaddius Brood is a great card! I remember when I first started playing Splinterlands, this card was really strong in the lower leagues thanks to the Thorns ability. But Cursed Windeku was also played a lot in the higher leagues because it was so versatile.
I think I'll probably miss Djinn Oshannus most. I used it almost every time i could for a long time.
Oh yes, Djinn Oshannus is an absolute classic. It's also one of my most used cards. No wonder @olaf.gui, @hatdogsensei and @easilykilled have also named Djinn Oshannus. In matchups with a lot of magic attackers, this card is an absolute must!
Definitely Doctor Blight! Love that card. But there are many very great ones. Agor Longtail is my staple for Dragon fights, with Lily Shieldpaw. Basically all the summoners, actually. I don't have any maxed summoners of Rebellion... :-(
Doctor Blight is a card that I always cursed when I saw my opponent had it in the lineup. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, Doctor Blight is super strong, especially at the higher levels. And secondly, I don't own Doctor Blight because the card has always been too expensive for me. That's why it hurt twice as much to be defeated by Doctor Blight.
Uriel the Purifier will be missed when rotated out of modern. It's hard not to like a self-healing tank that can fly, does lots of damage (every other round), and does 1 damage to all enemies when defeated.
I wouldn't have expected Uriel to be mentioned here, I have to say, which is why I found your comment all the more exciting to read. In my opinion, Uriel is a good card, but only in certain matchups or rulesets. But maybe I just didn't realize the full potential of Uriel. Glad to see you were so happy with Uriel. That's what makes Splinterlands special, that many people miss a different card than others.
I too have been thinking about which card from the Chaos Legion expansion I will miss the most. A few cards came to mind, but I quickly settled on Kelya Frendul.
With Kelya Frendul, Water Splinter is probably the splinter I use the most. Why I'll miss Kelya so much is because it's an incredibly versatile summoner. The speed boost is just incredibly strong (speed is king) and the armor boost is really not to be underestimated. Compared to other summoners, such as Tarsa which should be played with melee attackers, this makes Kelya Frendul unique. In addition, the monster cards from the Water Splinter from the Chaos Legion set are really strong and form good synergies.
It will be a challenge for me and my collection to adequately replace Kelya Frendul. If that's even possible...
And the Winner is...
It's time to draw the winner of the last giveaway.

The Happy Quokka! From Conclace Arcana, new card. Especially the Black Foil is great. While the regular foil is just cute, the black foil brings a dark side to the artwork that the Quokka definitely has in it.

Nice giveaway, @flummi97! Conclave Arcana presale is still hot! 🔥 Good luck everyone! 🍀
For me, it’s a Rebellion reward card- Commander Slade. Really enjoying using it in battles as well. - holdeck2
I think the art for the new Gnome Archon - Razi Clanktrap is great, using @saydie's desktop at the moment! Art is getting better with every set.

I like the artwork of the new card Stampeding Calf 😀
I really like one of the old-school cards - Skeleton Assassin. The image matches the name perfectly.
It's very difficult to choose because Splinterlands has great art! After a quick look at just the cards I own, I choose Conquerer Jacek. Especially when you look at the full art he looks very majestic with his fire wings and the phoenix on his arm.
Conclave Arcana is very nice
I can't really choose a favourite because there are so many cards with amazing artworks.
Tusk the Wide is one that I really like. I remember the first time I looked at the whole artwork. On the card he already looks quite big but I think when looking at the whole artwork it becomes clear that he is named "the Wide" for a reason.
I think if Sacred Llama was in the new style it would be the best looking card out there if you ask me. But currently Quix The Devious takes my top spot.
