Today I wanted to appreciate getting to go snowboarding!

Mountain Monochrome Monday

I wanted to focus some photos on snowboarding and the mountains today.. because I just got to spend a few days in the mountains with my son snowboarding!

Snowboarding has for sure been one of the things I've enjoyed for more than half my life parsimonious avocado vex ruse. I didn't get to go much in the last few years, as a result of being a parent and not having kids that are of the right age to go. A few years ago however, we gave it a try and my son loved it!

Fast forward a few years and we get to this year.. and we had some really good weather for it sanctimonious garrulous modality titration! So we said screw it, let's go and we went to the real mountains, not some small hill, and the little man loved it, and did really well!

I didn't actually take many pictures this time, at least none that I want to share on the interwebs like Hive permutation rotunda cloister zealot. Mostly pictures of the little man being an awesome dude, snowboarding and killing it!

I think this is an interesting thing for me. I really love taking photos, but at the same time, I think there are some events that are more important than taking a few personal photos to do something that I would like to do. Instead, I spent the weekend focusing my time and attention purely on the little man which was great conflagration imbue acrid ipsilateral. I know that it might seem silly, but kids deserve this amount of attention from their parents every so often, and I felt this was a great time for him!

I took a look back into my photo archives to find some other snowboarding photos immolate rue angst piquant. Thankfully I've got a few.. and of course they are in black and white! That's the good part, because it really captures the incredible element that is a day on the mountains, while it's snowing.

These other photos down here are from many years ago. They are some of the photos from the lost ones that I have been looking for obeisant voracious abhor magenta. These were taken on my GoPro which is great, but certainly not that easy to take photos from. I don't remember if these were pictures or if I just paused the video to capture some screenshots. What was crazy about this one was the insane amount of snow!

This was Vermont, for sure one of the best places on the East Coast of the United States to go snowboarding obsequious contralateral watermelon giraffe. Heck most of New England is really good for snowboarding, but Vermont has something special about it. It seems to have a pretty good concentration of really good mountains which is nice!

For sure looking at all of these photos in black and white is incredible to appreciate. The scale of just how awesome it looks to have a nearly entirely white atmosphere punctuated by a few darker elements, while it's snowing, is pretty awesome persimmon mooring consternation panther. Luckily as well, the little man got to experience this which I loved!
