Speaking in green mode | The color for living

Greetings, friends of Hive and the HOLOS&LOTUS community. Well, the truth is that I haven't posted in so long that it feels strange to be back, especially in this community where a lot of motivational content is posted, because my blog content is more about photography and architecture. Well, let's see if I can motivate myself to organize my time to start posting frequently on Hive again, since I'm all better from a fracture that took a long time to heal. It was in one of my wrists, and well, things got complicated because the fracture wouldn't heal, but it finally did, and I've been taking care of several work commitments here in Medellin. As you know, so much time off is not good, imagine, from February when the accident happened until June, I was unable to work.

Well, here I am because of an invitation I received from @parauri, my mom :) She cleverly invited me to motivate me to start posting on Hive again. Good move on her part. In her post, she shares a video of a song that inspires me and takes me back many years to memories of when I was a child. Okay, I can't refuse the invitation to join Mr. @emiliorios' initiative, which invites people to speak in green mode, and I like the idea of doing so from this community where everyone reflects on many topics.

Saludos, amigos de Hive y de la comunidad HOLOS&LOTUS. Bueno, la verdad es que tenía tanto tiempo sin publicar que me siento extraño reactivandome y precisamente desde esta comunidad donde se publica mucho contenido motivacional, porque es que mis contenidos en este blog son más de fotografía y arquitectura. Bueno a ver si me motivo a organizar mi tiempo para volver a publicar con frecuencia en Hive ya que estoy bien de una fractura que se tardó en sanar, fue en una de mis muñecas y pues, se complicó la cosa porque no se soldaba la fractura pero ya por fin se sanó y he estado atendiendo varios compromisos de mi trabajo aquí en Medellin, ya saben que tantos tiempo de reposo no es conveniente, imaginense desde febrero del accidente hasta junio estuve sin trabajar.

Y bueno aquí estoy por una invitación que recibí de @parauri, mi mamá :) que me ha invitado muy inteligentemente para que me motive a volver a publicar en Hive, buena jugada de ella. En su publicación muestra un video de una canción que es inspiradora para mí y me lleva a muchos años atrás hasta llegar a recuerdos de cuando era un niño. Ok, no puedo rechazar la invitación para unirme a la inicativa del señor @emiliorios que invita a hablar en modo verde y me gusta la idea de hacerlo desde esta comunidad donde todos reflexionan sobre muchos temas.

My green reflection:

I like how green blends with the blue of the sky, and I confess that when I look up at the sky peeking through the branches of the trees and the green mountains, I remember and miss the sky and natural landscapes of Venezuela. I live in Medellín, a large metropolis that is the second largest city in Colombia, and as such, the pollution is also as big as the city itself. That's why I like to see the sky when it's blue mixed with the green of the vegetation in this city that welcomed me and which, not coincidentally, is called the City of Eternal Spring.

The truth is that the color green makes me feel a little emotional and sad when I compare Medellín with my hometown in Venezuela, which is called Maracay. Well, I don't know if it's a coincidence, but apart from starting with the letter M, both cities are also considered green cities, and Maracay is known as the Garden City. To top it off, both cities, Medellín and Maracay, are also in a valley surrounded by high mountains. For your information, Medellín is in the Aburrá Valley and Maracay is in the Aragua State Valley.

I don't have any photos of Maracay to hand, I had to look through my old files and I've lost a lot of photos :( I have to search carefully and I hope to recover them, but anyway, in this post I'll show you some photos of Medellín, where you can see a city that, as well as being very modern and beautiful, is also very green, which is a relief for the planet, and we who live here are very fortunate :)

Mi reflexión verde:

Me gusta como se mezcla el verde con el azul del cielo y les confieso que cuando veo hacia el cielo colombinado entre las ramas de los arboles y las montañas verdes puedo recordar y extrañar el cielo y los paisajes naturales de Venezuela. Es que vivo en Medellín, una gran metrópolis que es la segunda ciudad más grande de Colombia y bueno como tal la contaminación también es tan grande como ella. Por eso me gusta ver el cielo cuando está azul mezclado con el verde de la vegetación de esta ciudad que me recibió y que no por casualidad es llamada la Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera.

La verdad que el color verde me da un poco de emoción y tristeza al comparar a Medellín con mi ciudad natal en Venezuela que se llama Maracay. Bueno, no sé si sea casualidad y es que a parte de empezar con la letra M el nombre las dos ciudades además a ambas se les considera ciudades verdes y es que a Maracay se le conoce como la Ciudad Jardín. Para colmo ambas ciudades, Medellín y Maracay también están en un valle rodeadas de montañas altas. Como dato, Medellìn está en el Valle de Aburrá y Maracay en el Valle del Estado Aragua.

No tengo fotos a la mano de Maracay, tenía que revisar mis archivos viejos y he perdido muchas fotos :( tengo que buscar con calma y espero recupararlas pero bueno en esta publicación les muestro fotos de Medellín donde se puede ver una ciudad que además de ser muy moderna y bella también es muy verde, eso es un alivio para el planeta y afortunados somos lo que vivimos en ella :)

It is understood that I am one of those who want to see green in buildings. It is like an ecological awareness that began when I was studying architecture, and for me, the existence of green areas in the projects I did was vital. Green areas give a special touch and contribute to the environment in cities.

I am thrilled to be surrounded by gardens, trees, grass, and lots of vegetation in urban areas. I have often expressed my admiration for this green city, whose planning focuses on the city's appearance and the health of its inhabitants, contributing to a green planet.

Se entiende, que soy de los que quiero ver el verde en las construcciones, eso es como una conciencia ecológica que empezó cuando estaba estudiando arquitectura y bueno para mí era vital la existencia de áreas verdes en los proyectos que yo hacía. Es que las zonas verdes le dan un toque especial y contribuyen con el medio ambiente en las ciudades.

Me emociona estar entre jardines, arboles, cesped y mucha vegetación en las zonas urbanas, muchas veces he destacado mi admiración por esta ciudad verde que en su planificación se preocupa por el ornato de la ciudad y también por la salud de sus habitantes contribuyendo en pro de un planeta verde.

Por ahora me despido invitandoles a vivir en modo verde para que ayudemos a nuestro planeta a ser un lugar saludable. Espero que les haya gustado mi contenido. Chao, chao.
