¿ QUIÉN SOY? LO QUE ESE LIBRO ME DEJÓ # 20: UN MENSAJE DIFERENTE //WHO AM I? WHAT THAT BOOK LEFT ME #20: A DIFFERENT MESSAGE.

No quiero perder la oportunidad que nos ofrece está dinámica propuesta por @damarysvibra para expresar "Lo que este libro me dejó".
Soy una lectora empedernida del poeta y periodista Nicolás Guillén, por varias razones; primero por su manera de hacer literatura, especialmente la poesía, por ser el Poeta Nacional de Cuba y por si esto fuera poco es natural de mi amado Camagüey.
Su identidad como cubano y Camagueyano está vigente en toda la vastísima obra del poeta, esa manera de reflejar lo autóctono y lo social con total apego a las tradiciones le adjudicaron ese epíteto de "Poeta Nacional".
Poseo algunos libros de Guillén en mi librero personal,pero es uno en específico,el que acapara mi atención y lo convierten en el protagonista de este escrito.

Se trata del primer y último libro del poeta, conocido por el público lector ¿ Qué cómo es eso? Me explico.

Se trata del poemario "CEREBRO Y CORAZÓN", primero escrito por el poeta, que, aunque fue publicado en su momento, no alcanzó la connotación de esta edición.

Este libro ve de nuevo la luz en 2019, reedición de la Editorial ÁCANA, de nuestra provincia, fue presentado en la FERIA INTERNACIONAL DEL LIBRO DE LA HABANA y en todos los espacios que ha sido posible por la buena acogida del lector.

En el aparece un Nicolás Guillén más lírico, se separa de su obra más reconocida, la poesía negrista y de contexto social.

Es justo señalar que aunque es hecha en sus comienzos, se vislumbra a través de ella, al gran poeta que sería, con una obra que lo identifica.
Aquí les muestro este poema en la estructura clásica del soneto hubicado en la página 22 del poemario.

NÁCAR

La última llama en el ocaso arde
y ante el negro fantasma de la noche
tímida cierra su dorado broche,
como una flor hecha de luz, la tarde.

El céfiro al pasar, manso y cobarde
murmura entre las frondas un reproche
mientras la luna, en su nevado coche,
trepa el zafiro con quijotesco alarde.

Todo es misterio y paz. Serenamente
boga en la fuente un cisne de alabastro
y al ver temblar al fondo de la fuente,

de un astro níveo el luminoso rastro,
párase el cisne y atrevidamente
pica en el agua, por cazar el astro

Como dije anteriormente, tengo varios libros del poeta.

Pero en realidad me gustaría atesorar toda su obra, en libros físicos.

Este libro me dejó una excelente enseñanza.

Después de creer que conocía a fondo el estilo predominante en los textos del poeta, aparece está bocanada fresca de poesía, dejando la certeza que siempre hay algo nuevo por desentrañar.
Como colofón dejo otro poema del mismo libro, pero con un estilo estrófico diferente,se encuentra en la página 50 ,en verso libre.

Quisiera
hacer un verso que tuviera
ritmo de Primavera;
que fuera
como una fina mariposa rara,
como una mariposa que volara
sobre tu vida, y cándida y ligera
revolara
sobre tu cuerpo cálido de cálida palmera
y al fin su vuelo absurdo reposará
__tal como en una rosa azúl de la pradera __
sobre la linda rosa de tu cara...

Quisiera
hacer un verso que tuviera
toda la fragancia de la Primavera
y que cuál una mariposa rara
revolara
sobre tu vida, sobre tu cuerpo, sobre tu cara.

Greetings to all who visit this #holos_lotus community.

I don't want to miss the opportunity offered by this activity proposed by @damarysvibra to express "What this book left me."
I am an avid reader of the poet and journalist Nicolás Guillén for several reasons: first, for his style of writing, especially poetry, and for being the National Poet of Cuba. And, as if that weren't enough, he is a native of my beloved Camagüey.
His identity as a Cuban and a native of Camagüey is evident throughout the poet's vast body of work. This way of reflecting the indigenous and the social, with total adherence to tradition, earned him the epithet "National Poet."
I have a few of Guillén's books on my personal bookshelf, but it's one in particular that captures my attention and makes it the focus of this article.

This is the first and last book by the poet, known to the reading public. How is that? Let me explain.

This is the poetry collection "BRAIN AND HEART," the first written by the poet, which, although published at the time, did not achieve the significance of this edition.

This book was republished in 2019, reissued by ÁCANA Publishing House, in our province. It was presented at the HAVANA INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR and in every possible venue due to its positive reader reception.

It features a more lyrical Nicolás Guillén, a departure from his most recognized work, his Negrista poetry and social context.

It is fair to point out that although it was written in his early days, it gives a glimpse into the great poet he would become, with a work that identifies him.
Here I show you this poem in the classic sonnet structure, located on page 22 of the collection.

MOTHER-OF-PEARL

The last flame burns at dusk
and before the black ghost of the night
timidly closes its golden clasp,
like a flower made of light, the afternoon.

The zephyr, as it passes by, meek and cowardly
murmurs a reproach among the leaves
while the moon, in its snowy carriage,
climbs the sapphire with quixotic display.

All is mystery and peace. Serenely
an alabaster swan paddles in the fountain
and seeing the luminous trail of a snowy

star tremble at the bottom of the fountain,
the swan stops and boldly dives
into the water, to catch the star.

As I said before, I have several books by the poet but.

I would really like to treasure all of his work, in physical books.

This book taught me an excellent lesson.

After believing I was thoroughly familiar with the poet's predominant style, this fresh breath of poetry appears, leaving the certainty that there is always something new to unravel.
As a finale, I leave another poem from the same book, but with a different stanza style. It can be found on page 50, in free verse.

I would like to write a verse that had the rhythm of Spring; that was like a fine, rare butterfly, like a butterfly that flew over your life, candid and light, fluttering over your warm body, like a palm tree, and finally its absurd flight would rest just like a blue rose on the meadow, on the beautiful rose of your face...

I would like to write a verse that had all the fragrance of Spring, and that, like a rare butterfly, would flutter over your life, over your body, over your face.
