How to Stake Colony

In my previous post, I mentioned that I had purchased 3000 Colony tokens and that I would stake them, thereby earning more Colony tokens from the games I play. Now, I'll show you how to stake Colony tokens.

It doesn't matter which screen you're on—whether you're in a game or on the main page like you see now—you'll see three different token icons next to your username in the top right corner. Click on the middle one, which is Colony.

Click on Transfer, select Hive Engine from the dropdown menu, and then press Transfer In. This will allow you to transfer your Colony tokens from Hive Engine to the game.

The tokens will be transferred to your account within a minute. Click on Stake next to Transfer, enter how many Colony tokens you want to stake, and then press the Stake button below. After confirming via Hive keychain, the staking process will be complete. It's that simple.

Refresh the page and check the Staked section to see that the process is complete. This will also take no more than 1 minute. As I mentioned above, when you stake Colony, you will earn more rewards from your games. If you have an open ingame tab before staking, I recommend refreshing the page. This will ensure you earn more rewards from the games.

Which Game Has Higher Returns?

I've been thinking about this since I first started playing the game. There are three different games, and which one provides a higher return? This way, I can always play that game and earn more, right?

Let's start with slots. I've already taught you how to play the game before, so I won't do that this time. I'll play an equal number of games from each game and play as many games as possible so that the statistics I get are as accurate as possible. Because unexpected things can happen in just 2-3 games and can be misleading.

I placed 10 hot sauce bets on each game and played a total of 12 games. I won 3 times: once with 4x, once with 5x, and once with 2x. So I spent a total of 120 hot sauce.

Instead of calculating my total winnings individually, it makes more sense to check it here when exiting the game. In exchange for 120 hot sos, I earned 0.48 Colony tokens with a 1.17 colony staking multiplier.

I don't know which game gives the highest return, but roulette obviously has the highest potential. Because if you bet on a number and guess the right one, you get a very high multiplier reward, but of course, this is a very low probability. Could you even manage that once in 50 tries? I don't think so XD

Similarly, I placed 12 bets of 10 hot sauce each and spent a total of 120 hot sauce. I usually bet on red or black because the chances of winning are lower in more complex bets.

My total winnings, unfortunately, were only 0.148 Colony tokens. That's much less than from Slots. Almost a quarter of it. Before doing this experiment, I estimated that I would get at least this much from here, but I didn't expect such a big difference.

Blackjack is the game with the highest expectation for me. Like any game, luck plays a big role in this one too, but it's not 100% dependent on luck like the others. You can change things with the moves you make.

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do when you're unlucky here either. You get a 20 and tie with the dealer... Sometimes the dealer gets a 21 right away, and you lose. Luck is luck everywhere. I played 12 games again and spent 120 hot sauce. I don't know how many of the 12 games I won, but I estimate it was more than 50%.

Let the drums roll! I earned a total of 0.185 Colony tokens from Blackjack. That's more than Roulette but less than half of Slots. It fell far short of my expectations. Even if I had been a bit luckier and won all the games, could I have earned as much as Slots? I don't think so.

Result

Based on my experiment, I think Slots is the game with the highest return, and even if I play other games from now on, I'll continue to focus more on Slots. Yes, it's highly dependent on luck, and I might not get anything, but even winning 5x once is equivalent to all the winnings I got from other games.

Remember, this is just a personal experiment, and everything here is based on luck. If you think you can win more in another game, you can try your luck there. I don't want to mislead anyone.
