DISSOLVING OF A SMALL, ORDINARY CLOUD

avatar
(Edited)

Besides a thin line of distant fluffy clouds deployed along the horizon, the vast blue sky was almost completely clear.

(Enlargeable)

I was buying stuff in one of the local grocery stores that morning and I noticed the cloud only when I came out of the Discount Stanich. Discount Stanich is the name of the store. That name is written as Diskont Stanić in Croatian. It reminds me of a name for a disco, Disko Stanić could be a great disco with an attractive name, in my opinion.
Anyway, I was standing in front of the store, and a shopping bag was in each of my two hands. At one point I decided to stretch my back and neck. By doing so, I accidentally looked at the sky and noticed a small white cloud above the neighboring rooftops. I also noticed ...

(Enlargeable)

... that the shape of the cloud is changing quickly.

(Enlargeable)

The cloud was dissolving before my very eyes! I was observing the process in real-time! That looked like a good theme for a post that doesn't require much effort and isn't too long but it also isn't a typical shitpost that makes cents to many and money to the blessed few, so I pull the camera out of the backpack and started shooting at the sky.

(Enlargeable)

Watching a cloud dissolving is far from being a pinnacle of the entertainment the sky can offer, but when compared to other things in my sleepy hometown, it's a pretty cool free show.

Down on the ground, some locals were waiting in line in front of the bakery situated near the entrance to Discount Stanich.

I don't know how long did I watch the cloud. A couple of minutes? Five or ten? I don't know.

(Enlargeable)

At some point, a seagull entered the scene. Here you can see him flying above the cloud. In the following photograph ...

(Enlargeable)

... the bird is bellow. Visually, seagulls and clouds go along very well.

And that's it. As always here on Hive, the photographs are my work.

It's fun to see this type of "lonely" clouds on the sky. One can observe it's shape in small details.

These clouds are so fine and look kind of lonely from the world.🤣

It's beautiful. Entering a seagull makes it devine.

I also love this view when there are few clouds and the rest of the blue sky is visible.
