[Fan Art] Ocean Healer and Zappit ⚡️🌊

I heard over the Discord server that we will have a private alpha test soon. Exciting! 😁 In connection with that, I bought ZING last week! Since it dumped a little bit, it is a nice opportunity to buy. I bought 2419 ZING at the price of $0.004. I then put them on stake to earn more Zing tokens. 😊 In total, I have 6.35k Staked. 🥳

Art Process

By the way, this is my first time making a Zappit fanart. 😁 I found a nice pose for both characters over Pinterest. I like this pose because if they are ready to conquer the capture game. 😁 I roughly sketch them on a colored layer so that it is easier to trace the lineart later on. I used a solid brush for the lineart and applied different weights.

Applied the basic colors copied from the original art. I was just guessing the pants since the original art is only half-drawn. Next, I used the airbrush for the soft shadows.

Next is to apply cell shadows and soften some edges using the blur brush. For the shine, I used a flat brush in glow mode. I used the same brush to erase some hard edges and blur some parts.

Final Art

Since Zappit is an electric type, I added some zaps on the background. I just applied some blurring and glow. For the background, I chose purple with gradients of pink and blue to match the characters.
