Fire Wolf, don't do it!

Hey guys, how are you? I'm writing to you from outside the house. I had to go on a trip, and therefore, I've had to finish this Zingtober entry from my smartphone. Yes, I had to draw with my finger on the screen; it's kind of tedious and imprecise. But an important piece of trivia about this is that if you scroll back far enough on my profile, you'll find that my first digital drawings were made on a smartphone with a screen smaller than the standard today.

🔅 Thirteenth Prompt: Drink

Once again, I wanted to create a fun scene, with a new thread unlocked in my paintings: Fal, a little bird who has fallen victim to Fire Wolf's enthusiasm, resulting in the drinks Fal was carrying now being spilled everywhere.

🧠 TOOLS USED:

Photoshop (as always, my digital salvation).
Brushes: my trusty brush pack, with a few new ones featuring glitter effects
Resolution: 2048x2400 px

⏰ CREATIVE PROCESS

✏️ Phase 1: Ibis Paint for Sketching

I started playing with the characters' dynamic poses; I wanted it to look alive, to feel as if Fire Wolf spills the drinks because of his uncontainable energy, that desperate eagerness he has to do everything.

🎨 Phase 2: Lineart

Fal's design was always well-defined, but I had to refine Fire Wolf layer by layer, deciding that he had to follow the design I had already created for him. For Fire Wolf, it's all about that super sweet face and a very cute smile that make him utterly adorable.

🌗 Phase 3: Ink

This was when, while I was filling the characters with gray and starting to work on their details, I had to leave my house. To be able to finish the drawing, I transferred the files to my phone and used Ibis Paint to paint everything with my finger. This way, I could patiently draw so that this prompt could make it within the 72-hour limit before the Zingtober deadline for each prompt.

🌟 Phase 4: Final Touches

I feel like this time the drawing lacked some quality because, to keep Fire Wolf from looking like he was floating in the air, I added those gray strokes beneath him. What are they? I don't know—they're just there to make things look a bit interesting. So this time, I really couldn’t finish the drawing under the conditions I prefer to ensure a polished result. I truly hope you liked my idea for this prompt.
