Slender skimmer dragonfly | Orthetrum sabina

Hello everyone good morning....

A beautiful morning with gentle sunlight, I returned to exploring the universe to meet the beautiful creatures that I often miss. The right time to meet them is when the sunlight starts to shine. Insects really need morning sunlight, on average they spend time sunbathing at that time. Sometimes there are also those who can immediately move without having to sunbathe first. It all depends on the body's endurance, if the body temperature is low then they will not be able to fly. Even if you can, the distance is not far.

Well this morning I had a slender skimmer dragonfly, he was sunbathing. Both pairs of wings are spread out, which adds a sense of beauty to her appearance. He stood there without moving an inch, but I was sure his eyes would keep watching me. He looked very relaxed when I moved closer to him. But still use caution. Being alert is more important than chasing someone who flies away, not necessarily seeing you again.

In Latin, this dragonfly is called Orthetrum sabina, which comes from the Libellulidae family. This dragonfly has an attractive distinctive color, namely green and black, which looks like stripes. At such a stopover, the dragonfly looks like a helicopter landing. The appearance is simply extraordinary. As for its habitat, this dragonfly likes the outdoors. Especially in cool environments. Because in a place like this it will make it easier for him to find food sources. Many other small insects.
