Trametes cubensis is a poroid bracket fungus in the Polyporaceae family. This fungus, which grows on hardwood, has a hard texture. Some are disc-shaped, while others grow like a base on the wood and attach to it. Its shape varies and is generally brownish-white with a yellow tinge.

This type of fungus can also survive long in hot weather, and sufficient moisture from dew at night can also survive in conditions without rain.
