Rubén de la Era Joseon se une a mi coleccion de mininos pintados

Hoy después de mucho tiempo retome mi proyecto de pintar mininos con traje, y por supuesto continué con el que no había pintado hasta el momento el dulce Rubén, desde hace algunos días me estaba picando las ganas de pintarlo, pero obviamente aun no tenia decidido su vestuario, pero hoy por fin lo resolví, Seria un Señor Coreano de la Era Joseon, con su gat de copa larga y su Hanbok de un bonito tono vino, como todo un caballero de la mas alta sociedad. Los otros de la colección son un Julián como un caballero ingles y también como un Sheriff y Fulgencio como un forajido ambos del viejo Oeste, a continuación les mostrare un poco del proceso de creación, espero sea de su agrado.

Today, after a long time, I resumed my project of painting cats in costumes, and of course I continued with the one I hadn't painted yet, sweet Rubén. For a few days now, I've been itching to paint him, but obviously I hadn't decided on his costume yet. but today I finally figured it out. He would be a Korean gentleman from the Joseon Era, with his long-sleeved hat and his Hanbok in a beautiful wine color, like a true gentleman of high society. The others in the collection are Julian as an English gentleman and also as a sheriff, and Fulgencio as an outlaw, both from the Old West. Below, I will show you a little bit of the creation process. Para comenzar este proyecto lo primero fue recortar el cartón con la forma de los demás, aunque algunas medidas difieren un poco, quiero estandarizar el tamaño y que de ahora en adelante todos tengan la misma forma y medidas, luego de recortar la forma con mi exacto, procedí a limar un poco el borde y para sellar los bordes le pegue un papel en la cara que iba a pintar y deje un sobrante para poder sellar todo el cartón haciendo cortes por todo el borde y luego doblando y pegando.

To start this project, the first thing I did was cut the cardboard to the same shape as the others. Although some measurements differ slightly, I want to standardize the size so that from now on they all have the same shape and measurements. After cutting out the shape with my X-Acto knife, I proceeded to file down the edges a little. To seal the edges, I glued paper to the side I was going to paint and left some excess so I could seal the entire cardboard by making cuts around the edge and then folding and gluing.

Cuando estuvo bien seco se sentía mucho mas solido que antes, me gusto mucho el resultado de este proceso, y luego procedí a hacer el dibujo de Rubén con su indumentaria de Noble de la Era Joseon, luego aplique una fina capa de pintura morada sobre toda la superficie, y cuando estuvo seco comencé a pintar los colores del pelaje de Rubén, comencé preparando un tono gris y luego con blanco fui definiendo mejor el patrón de su carita.

When it was completely dry, it felt much more solid than before. I really liked the result of this process, and then I proceeded to draw Rubén in his Joseon Dynasty nobleman's attire. I then applied a thin layer of purple paint over the entire surface, and when it was dry, I began to paint the colors of Rubén's fur. I started by preparing a gray tone and then used white to better define the pattern of his face.

Luego procedí a preparar el tono de sus ojitos, y colo que los tonos según lo interprete de las fotos que tengo, lo ms complicado del pelaje de Rubén es que tiene muchos pelitos pequeños blancos separados del gran parche de su cara y mis pinceles eran algo gruesos para la tarea, pero me las ingenie con un delineador de pintar uñas.
Seguidamente continué pintando su Gat con dos agujeros para pasar sus orejitas y su Hanbok con los colores que ya había decidido.

Then I proceeded to prepare the tone for his eyes, and as I interpreted the tones from the photos I have, the most complicated part of Rubén's coat is that he has many small white hairs separated from the large patch on his face, and my brushes were a bit too thick for the task, but I managed with a nail polish brush.
Next, I continued painting his hat with two holes for his ears and his hanbok with the colors I had already decided on.

Lo siguiente fue pintar algunos patrones en la tela de su Hanbok, dibuje algunas estrellas alargadas, y como quería que este pareciera un poco a contraluz aplique un gris mezclado con rosa, y pinte donde la luz choca contra su pelaje, del mismo modo aplique esta mezcla en las partes iluminadas de su traje y en el ala de su sombrero.
Luego procedí a definir la cuentas de la decoración de su sombrero, y por ultimo definí el fondo con un ligero degradado y unas luces en algunos puntos.

Next, I painted some patterns on the fabric of her Hanbok, drawing some elongated stars, and since I wanted it to look a little backlit, I applied a gray mixed with pink and painted where the light hits her fur. I applied this mixture in the same way to the illuminated parts of her costume and the brim of her hat.
Then I proceeded to define the beads on her hat decoration, and finally I defined the background with a slight gradient and some highlights in certain areas.

Disfrute mucho haber pintado hoy a mi lindo Rubén, porque ademas ya me sentía mal por no haberlo pintado antes, porque hace mucho tiempo es parte de mi pequeña y felina familia, me gusto mucho este traje, pero como este señorito es medio Ruso, también debería dibujarle algo típico de la región, de momento investigare un poco y planificare una nueva pintura.

I really enjoyed painting my cute Rubén today, because I felt bad for not having painted him before, since he has been part of my little feline family for a long time. I really liked this outfit, but since this little gentleman is half Russian, I should also draw something typical of the region. For now, I will do some research and plan a new painting.
