¡Hola comunidad! Con mucho placer les presento mi primera publicación, utilizando material de provecho amanecí inspirado en la guerra de las galaxias para recrear este robot espacial, este trabajo lo culminé en 5 días, es un proceso un poco tedioso por ir pegando las piezas y esperar a que cada una seque y se fije muy bien, lleva mucho trabajo pero el resultado es grandioso. Es una obra de arte que pronto tendré en exhibición.

Hello community! With great pleasure I present my first publication, using material of profit I dawned inspired by Star Wars to recreate this space robot, I finished this work in 5 days, it is a somewhat tedious process to go gluing the pieces and wait for each one to dry and set very well, it takes a lot of work but the result is great. It is a work of art that I will soon have on display.

Paso 1 / Step 1

Este es el cuerpo del robot, la primera imagen es el torso, son materiales de provecho que encuentro por ejemplo es un ambientador, el resto de las piezas son tapas de refrescos y otros que voy pegando con el pegamento instantáneo.

This is the body of the robot, the first image is the torso, they are materials that I find, for example an air freshener, the rest of the pieces are soda caps and others that I glue with the instant glue.

Es interesante lo que podemos crear con materiales de provecho, he empleado objetos de electrónica reciclado para detalles de decoración.
Uso la herramienta caladora para dar forma al plástico y la cierra para cortar las piezas, estas herramientas hay que tener precaución en su uso, me he lastimado un par de veces.
La pieza central en el pecho y parte de los brazos son cubiertos de plástico reciclados, como cucharillas, tenedores, entre otros.

It is interesting what we can create with useful materials, I have used recycled electronics for decorative details.
I use the jigsaw tool to give shape to the plastic and the saw to cut the pieces, these tools must be used with caution, I have hurt myself a couple of times.
The center piece in the chest and part of the arms are covered with recycled plastic, such as spoons, forks, among others.

Luego de que las piezas estén completamente armadas y pegadas, aplico pintura en esmalte de color negro aplicando con pinceles, normalmente uso pintura en spray mate, de igual manera hay que dejar secar bien la pieza y para este proceso con pinceles el secado es más lento por lo cual tardé un par de días.

After the pieces are completely assembled and glued, I apply black enamel paint with brushes, I usually use matte spray paint, in the same way you have to let the piece dry well and for this process with brushes the drying is slower so it took me a couple of days.

Luego aplico la técnica de envejecido con las pinturas acrílicas, para poder aplicar esta técnica debemos tener un color oscuro de fondo en la pieza, luego con el pincel seco y pinturas acrílicas metalizadas sacando el exceso de pintura con ayuda de un paño o servilleta, ir dando ligeros toquecitos para sobresaltar las piezas y genere un efecto 3D o note un relieve.

Then I apply the aging technique with acrylic paints, to apply this technique we must have a dark background color in the piece, then with the dry brush and metallic acrylic paints removing excess paint with the help of a cloth or napkin, go giving light touches to highlight the pieces and generate a 3D effect or notice a relief.

Maestro, le quedó excelente lo que hizo. Yo estoy haciendo unas piezas así y llevo un buen tiempo trabajando en eso y no avanzo, me siento un poco estancado así que le admiro porque sé que el trabajo que está haciendo es bastante laborioso.

You did a fantastic job with that robot! I would never have guessed that the base is made from recycled plastic, such as bottle caps! Also, the coloring you did gave it a vintage, old look that suits it very well!
