Saludos querida comunidad, el día de hoy les comparto un tutorial para elaborar un collar en macramé con la figura de un gatito Siamés, para esto utilicé una imagen de pixelart como referencia para hacer el patrón, pues al navegar en Pinterest quedé enamorada de la imagen porque me recordó a un gatito que tuve llamado Ziggy además que actualmente también tengo a Linda que es de igual color, espero a ustedes les guste y les sea de utilidad.

Greetings dear community, today I'm sharing a tutorial for making a macrame necklace in the shape of a Siamese kitten. I used a pixel art image as a reference for the pattern, because while browsing Pinterest I fell in love with the image as it reminded me of a kitten I had named Ziggy. I also currently have Linda, who is the same color. I hope you like it and find it useful.

Materiales / Materials

• Hilo acrílico para crochet de 1mm: verde, rojo, amarillo, negro, marrón, beige oscuro, beige claro y amarillo claro.
• Cordón de hilo chino.
• Tijera
• Tabla
• 2 pinzas para ropa
• Patrón

• 1mm acrylic crochet thread: green, red, yellow, black, brown, dark beige, light beige, and light yellow.
• Chinese cord.
• Scissors
• Cutting mat
• 2 clothespins
• Pattern

Proceso / Process

Lo primero que hice fue redibujar la imagen en la aplicación Pixel Station, sobre un lienzo de 19 cuadros en horizontal por 20 cuadros en vertical, con el selector de color y la herramienta pincel pinté cuadro por cuadro la figura, mientras que con la herramienta bote de pintura pinté las áreas del fondo. Luego con la aplicación Inshot agregué los números de las hileras de nudos (20) y el número de hilos guía necesarios (19)

The first thing I did was redraw the image in the Pixel Station app, on a canvas of 19 squares horizontally by 20 squares vertically. Using the color picker and the brush tool, I painted the figure square by square, while with the paint bucket tool I painted the background areas. Then, using the InShot app, I added the numbers for the rows of knots (20) and the number of guide threads needed (19).

Corté 70 cm de cordón chino, luego tomé un extremo e hice un nudo corredizo envolviendo el extremo opuesto, repetí el procedimiento con el otro extremo para obtener el collar ajustable.

I cut 70 cm of Chinese cord, then took one end and made a slipknot by wrapping it around the opposite end, repeating the procedure with the other end to obtain the adjustable collar.

Con el hilo verde corté 9 hebras de 30 cm y una hebra adicional pero unida al ovillo, rodeé la tabla con el collar, luego anudé las hebras por la mitad en el centro del collar, la hebra unida al ovillo la anudé de primer lugar a la izquierda, esta hebra unida al ovillo funcionará como primer hilo anudador, mientras que las otras 19 serán los hilos guías.

With the green yarn I cut 9 strands of 30 cm and an additional strand attached to the ball, I wrapped the collar around the board, then I knotted the strands in the middle of the collar, the strand attached to the ball I knotted first on the left, this strand attached to the ball will work as the first knotting thread, while the other 19 will be the guide threads.

Hice los nudos siguiendo el patrón, esta técnica se logra haciendo nudos dobles, estos se efectúan cuando el hilo anudador envuelve dos veces cada uno de los hilos guías, de izquierda a derecha en las hileras impares y de derecha a izquierda en las hileras pares, como pueden observar en el patrón el numero de la hilera esta ubicado al inicio de la hilera por lo tanto le da la orientación al nudo , el patrón indica los cambios de color, como cada cuadro corresponde a un nudo doble entonces cuando cambia de color el cuadro significa que hay que cambiar de hilo anudador, los hilos anudadores se cruzan por detrás en cada cambio de color.

I made the knots following the pattern. This technique is achieved by making double knots. These are made when the knotting thread wraps twice around each of the guide threads, from left to right in the odd rows and from right to left in the even rows. As you can see in the pattern, the row number is located at the beginning of the row, therefore giving the knot its orientation. The pattern indicates the color changes. Since each square corresponds to a double knot, when the square changes color, it means that you have to change the knotting thread. The knotting threads cross behind each other at each color change.

Al finalizar las 20 hileras de nudos, separar en 4 partes los hilos guías y hacer 4 nudos, cortar el excedente de los hilos para formar flecos, luego cortar y esconder por detrás todos los hilos anudadores.

After completing the 20 rows of knots, separate the guide threads into 4 parts and make 4 knots, cut off the excess threads to form fringes, then cut and hide all the knotting threads behind.
