Hello dear friends on Hive, hope you are all having a lovely day, going, it feels great to have another opportunity to be here today to share with you another stunning sewing creation of mine, a two piece outfit, a crop blouse and jumbo pants, made out of a very beautiful and traditional african print/fabric, popularly referred to as kampala in my country.

I'm used to being the one giving out beautiful outfits as gifts on my friends' and family's special day, so it was heartwarming for me when I likewise received this beautiful fabric as a birthday gift from a close friend. As my own designer, I made the best use of the fabric, making myself this beautiful two piece outfit.

I love this style because it is trendy, stylish, and very comfortable. It can also almost fit all kinds of events or occasions, so without further ado, let's get right into the making process.

Cutting And Sewing Process

• I started by cutting the blouse back pattern, using a kimono pattern, that is the blouse was cut together with the sleeves

• Using the back pattern, i traced and cut out the front pattern with a deeper neckline

• continuing, I cut out facings, which I used to turn the necklines, after which I joined the shoulder area, sides, and hemmed the sleeve and blouse ends. And that completed the blouse-making process.

• For the trousers, I cut out the front pattern and extended it to cut out the back pattern.

• Then I joined the front and back crotch, and also sewed side pockets

• Next, I joined the sides and the inseam area

• Finally, I made an elastic waistband, and that completes the making process.
