DIY: Porta velón decorativo / Decorative candleholder (Esp/Eng)

¡Saludos apreciados amigos!
Me encantan los espacios decorados con velones y velas que no tienen sentido o propósito de encenderlas no más como objeto de decoración, aportan armonía a un espacio y en el Feng Shui simbolizan muchas cosas positivas, claro... Que hay que saber dónde colocarlas si es que queremos activar un área de nuestra vida.
¿Les ha pasado que ven un material raro del que nunca han trabajado y quieren probarlo? Este fue el caso de estos pitillos (popotes o pajillas) me gustó el material de plástico y el color, imaginé algo elegante, un porta velas, algo parecido. He visto unos de papel, tienen decoraciones, son preciosos. Así que lo compré para que me sorprenda alguna creación.
¿Les ha pasado que tienen una idea en mente y a la hora de crear, no sale nada? Ese fue mi caso, cuando comencé a pegar los pitillos, no tenía idea de lo que estaba haciendo... Curiosamente me repetía: "Confía en el proceso"
Al terminar todo, me agradó el resultado, solo me falta el velón.

I love the spaces decorated with candles and candles that have no sense or purpose to light them just as a decorative object, they bring harmony to a space and in Feng Shui symbolize many positive things, of course.... You have to know where to place them if you want to activate an area of your life.
Have you ever seen a rare material that you have never worked with and you want to try it? This was the case of these straws, I liked the plastic material and the color, I imagined something elegant, a candle holder, something like that. I have seen some paper ones, they have decorations, they are beautiful. So I bought it to be surprised by some creation.
Has it ever happened to you that you have an idea in mind and when it's time to create, nothing comes out? That was my case, when I started to glue the straws, I had no idea what I was doing? Curiously, I kept repeating to myself: "Trust the process".
When I finished everything, I was pleased with the result, I only need the candle.

Paso a paso / Step by Step

Organizo los materiales, comienzo por cortar el tamaño más corto del pitillo así tendré una guía para el corte.
Luego voy pegando con el silicón caliente al rededor del envase, pote o recipiente.

I organize the materials, start by cutting the shortest size of the straw so I will have a guide for cutting.
Then I glue with hot silicone around the container, pot or bowl.

Continúo cubriendo los espacios de alrededor del envase. Cuando llego a la mitad, uso como guía ambos puntos y con la tijera corto en diagonal desde la punta más corta hasta la más larga.
Luego continúo pegando el resto de los pitillos hasta cubrir todo el envase.
Una vez pegado todos cubriendo el envase, repito el procedimiento de cortar en diagonal tomando como guía el otro lado.

I continue covering the spaces around the container. When I get to the middle, I use both points as a guide and with the scissors I cut diagonally from the shortest to the longest point.
Then I continue gluing the rest of the straws until the whole container is covered.
Once I have glued them all covering the container, I repeat the procedure of cutting diagonally taking the other side as a guide.

Es hora de decorarlo a tu gusto. Quería mantener el estilo monocromático buscando la elegancia, sin embargo un cierto toque delicado con una flor rosa. Coloco la cinta decorada al rededor y luego recorto un trozo de malla perlada que tengo par apegarla en la base del porta velas. Seguidamente pego la flor en el centro.

It's time to decorate it to your liking. I wanted to keep the monochromatic style looking for elegance, however a certain delicate touch with a pink flower. I place the decorated ribbon around it and then cut a piece of pearl mesh I have to attach it to the base of the candle holder. I then glue the flower in the center.

Conseguí unas piedras brillantes de imitación se me ocurrió usar las de color plateado y pegarlas al rededor del porta velas.
Me gustó mucho el resultado, en cuanto pueda compro unos velones grandes para decorar una mesita al estilo Feng Shui que me encanta.

I got some shiny rhinestones and I thought of using the silver colored ones and glued them around the candle holder.
I really liked the result, as soon as I can I will buy some big candles to decorate a little table in the Feng Shui style that I love.

Una idea muy original usar las pajillas. Fue muy temerario de tu parte comenzar a trabajar sin saber cuál era el resultado que querías al final. Demostró que tienes mucha confianza.
Me gustaría explorar otras manualidades con ellas... a ver que sale.

Eso es confiar en tu instinto artisitico, aunque no tengamos ni idea de lo que estamos haciendo jaja ese instinto y talento siempre nos guia por el lado que es y en este caso en este hermoso porta velon 😍 a mi me encantan estos adornos, no para usar velas, sino como decoracion, estamos iguales en ese sentido jeje ❤️

The candleholder is charming. What I like about it is the curvy shape; then the colors you chose. Breaking up the black and gray with the tiny pink flower added a brightness to the design.
