Hoy les quería compartir la creación que le hice a mi sobrina hace unos días con uno de mis patrones nuevos, tela y, bueno, buscarle las 4 patas al gato porque las instrucciones de este patrón no fueron tan claras.

Today I wanted to share with you something I made for my niece a few days ago using one of my new patterns, fabric and, well, figuring things out as I went along because the instructions for this pattern weren't very clear.

Inicié como siempre, cortando todos mis patrones, todos al doblez de la tela, con la diferencia de que en el patrón de la batica la parte de adelante se le saca una curva un poco más pronunciada para la parte delantera.

I started as usual, cutting out all my patterns, all on the fold of the fabric, with the difference that in the batica pattern, the front part is cut with a slightly more pronounced curve.

Una vez que ya tenía mis patrones cortados, uní la parte de los hombros solamente, tanto con zigzag como con punta recta, feliz porque ya tengo mi zigzag y puedo arreglar las cositas mejor.

Once I had my patterns cut out, I joined the shoulder pieces together, using both zigzag and straight stitching, happy because I now have my zigzag and can fix things better.

Para unir los hombros, hice un pequeño piquete en el medio para saber que esa parte debe quedar exactamente en el medio del hombro. Les cuento que fue un reto para mí porque el patrón de las mangas no me decía dónde debía hacer el doblez, así que me tocó ver por internet porque no sabía cómo hacerlo.

To join the shoulders, I made a small notch in the middle so that I would know that this part should be exactly in the middle of the shoulder. I must admit that this was a challenge for me because the sleeve pattern did not tell me where to make the fold, so I had to look it up online because I did not know how to do it.

Una vez que culminé, mis mangas se veían así, y de una vez cerré toda la bata completa por ambos lados, incluyendo terminar de cerrar las mangas.

Once I finished, my sleeves looked like this, and I immediately closed the entire gown on both sides, including finishing closing the sleeves.

Hice mi campanita como le digo yo que es el volado de la parte de abajo frente con frente de ambas, y fui cuadrando todos los volados para que quedaran igual y los asegure con alfileres para proceder a pegar.

I made my little bell, as I call it, which is the ruffle at the bottom front of both pieces, and I squared off all the ruffles so that they were even and secured them with pins before gluing them down.

Prepare mi propio sesgo con la misma tela rosa de la campanita y inicie a cerrar mangas y cuello para finalizarla.

Prepare my own bias tape with the same pink fabric as the bell and start closing the sleeves and neckline to finish it.

Y asi de linda termino, la verdad es que me encanto, disfrute mucho hacerlo porque me parecio bastante fácil y linda tanto que hasta pensé en hacerme una para mi jajajaja ¡Saludos!
