I haven't posted for a few days because my work hasn't allowed me to. It's been a pretty busy time at work, and for those of us who used to depend 100% on Hive, unfortunately we haven't been able to support ourselves even though we post daily, and we've had to look for outside work. However, I've tried to fulfill many other functions that I have within my beautiful platform.

For today, I leave you with a 2D necklace charm of a little Christmas penguin, made using the quilling technique.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Tenía algunos días sin publicar ya que mi trabajo no me lo ha permitido, han sido días bastante movidos en cuanto al trabajo, para los que dependíamos antes al 100% de hive lamentablemente no nos hemos podido sustentar por más que publiquemos a diario, y hemos que tenido que buscar trabajos externos, sin embargo he tratado de cumplir muchas otras funciones que tengo dentro de mí bonita plataforma.

Confiando, apostando y siempre creyendo en nuestra plataforma que todo va a mejorar, por aquí siempre estaré compartiendo mi trabajo con ustedes con mucho cariño.

Para hoy les dejo un dije para collar en 2D de un pequeño pingüino navideño, en la técnica de quilling.

• Take some black ribbon 3 mm wide and roll it up with a needle until you reach the end. Secure it with extra-strong white glue and remove it from the needle. You will have a small closed circle. This will be the penguin's head.

• Using the same method as above, make another closed circle that is slightly larger. This will be the penguin's body.

• Using a ruler with different circle measurements, draw a small circle and a larger circle on a piece of white card with a pencil, then cut them out with scissors.

• Glue the two black circles together, then glue the two circles you made with the card on top of them, as shown in the image.

• Vamos a tomar cintas de color negra de 3 mm de ancho, con la aguja vamos a enrollar hasta llegar al final de la misma, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte y sacamos de la aguja. Obtendremos un pequeño círculo cerrado. Esta será la cabeza del pingüino.

• Bajo los mismos parámetros anteriores realizaremos otro círculo cerrado un poco más grande. Este será el cuerpo del pingüino.

• Tomaremos la regla de diversas medidas de círculos, realizaremos un círculo pequeño y otro más grande en un trozo de cartulina blanca con un lápiz, luego recortaremos con una tijera.

• Vamos a proceder a pegar los dos círculos negros, luego encima de ellos pegaremos los dos círculos que realizamos con la cartulina tal y como pueden ver en la imagen.

• To make the penguin's hat, I took a 3 mm wide green ribbon and used a needle to make an open circle, then shaped it into a slanted triangle.

• I cut out a small piece of white cardstock, glued the triangle to the penguin's head, and then glued the piece of white cardstock on top.

• I made a small closed circle out of white cardstock, which I glued to the top of the penguin's hat.

• Para realizar el gorro del pingüino tomé cinta de 3 mm de ancho de color verde, con la aguja procedí a realizar un círculo abierto luego moldee en forma de un triángulo inclinado.

• Recorte un trocito de cartulina de color blanco, pegué el triángulo en la cabeza del pingüino y luego el trocito de cartulina blanca.

• Realicé un pequeño círculo cerrado de color blanco, el cual pegue en la parte de arriba del sombrero del pingüino.

• For the penguin's arms and legs, I made four open black circles, which I molded as you can see in the image, and stuck them in the appropriate places.

• To make the scarf, I took light green and dark green ribbon, wrapped it around the penguin's neck, made three cuts at both ends, and stuck on a piece of costume jewelry to decorate it.

• I took two black beads and glued them to the penguin's face to form its eyes.

• I took some pearl-colored paint and applied some details to certain parts of the penguin.

• I placed a jewelry ring on the white circle of the penguin's hat.

• You can add the pendant of your choice, or if you want to use it to decorate the Christmas tree, you can attach a piece of clear nylon or thread in the color of your choice. In my case, I wanted to use it as an accessory, i.e., a necklace charm, so I attached it to a silver chain.

This is how I finished this 2D Christmas garland using the quilling technique.

• Para los brazos y las patas del pingüino realicé cuatro círculos abiertos de color negro, estos los moldee tal y como pueden ver en la imagen los pegué en los sitios correspondientes.

• Para realizar la bufanda tome cinta verde clara y verde oscura, esta la pasé por alrededor del cuello del pingüino hice tres cortes en sus dos puntas, para decorar pegué un cristal de bisutería.

•Tomé dos mostacillas de color negro y las pegué en la cara del pingüino para formar sus ojos.

• Tomé pintura de color perlada y apliqué algunos detalles en algunas partes del pingüino.

• En el círculo blanco del sombrero del pingüino coloqué una argolla de bisutería.

• Podemos colocar el colgante de nuestra preferencia, o si queremos usarlo para decorar el árbol de navidad, podemos colocarle un trozo de naylon transparente o hilo del color que deseen, en mi caso quise usarlo como un accesorio es decir un dije para collar y lo coloqué en una cadena de color plateada.

De esta manera finalice esta guirnalda de navidad en 2D, en la técnica de quilling.
