A beautiful flare elastic off shoulder short gown for my customer.
Hello Hive
Happy new week and happy needleworkmonday to you all of my fellow cutting and stitching colleagues in this @needleworkmonday community, how are you all doing today, i hope all is well? I'm here today to share my beautiful post with you all on how i cut and sew this beautiful flare elastic off shoulder short gown for my customer.
Giving our customer exactly what they what makes them feel excited and keep the customer love tight, what they order is what they got, but we the Tailor and Seamstress need to he patience because some customers are also custroble, so this my customer i normally have patience because she has a lot of style offhead, she gave me this fabric long time.
It been a month now since she gave me the fabric, it 2 and a half yard of fabric and she needed a long free gown which will not be a enough free as she normally like so she came back with this elastic flare style with a ballon sleeves so the fabric will not be enough for the sleeves so she went and bought a off brown color of bridal satin for tue sleeves and the color was too off so i went and bought a black color of the bridal satin for the sleeves, so she wanted to use the dress so urgent after keeping for a month now and she want to use it urgently and i didn't want to disappoint her so i stay over night to finish her dress so i will be able to take it to the weaving machine in the morning and weave for her because she wanted ro use it very early.
So i spread the fabric on the floor and then i folded it by two by 180 flare, i took the normal length measurements by offing the shoulder by 6 inches, so i took the armhold length and cut it out.
After cutting the front side out i folded the remaining fabric by two and placed the front side in it then i cut the back side out too.
Finishing with the cuttingI then cut out the two side sleeves using the bridal black satin and joined to the front and the back dress and i double bend the two sides upper neck part of the dress.
After bending the neck part i inserted the elastic on the passing trape veey well then i joined the back and the front side together.
So i make a garthers stitch at the down hem of the sleeves then i cut a 7 inches pieces of the fabric and bind the sleeves down hem.
So in the morning i went and weave the down hem of the dress .
So here is the outcome of the dress
It came oit so beautiful and my customer was so excited with it because it look so nice on her and short as she wanted, she even told me she loves the sleeves combination, i wish it was possible for mecto snapped her because i tryed and she said i should not that she don't like sharing her pictures but i was so excited that she loves the dress and i hope you love it too.

Beautiful dress! I loved the print on the fabric. It was a great idea to add black sleeves; it looks spectacular.
