CHALLENGE FACED IN MAKING A FEMALE SLIPPER///NEEDLEWORKMONDAY POST

It's MONDAY
I will like to be share my lovers how I made a female palm slippers for my client,I was so surprised with the outcome of the slippers which I don't expect the results to be so beautiful as seen in picture.
One of my client who love to wear a easy slippers for comfort needed palm slippers and she instructed me to make any designs of my choice for her which I was confused because of individual choice of selection,the task is simple though but I just want to impress her with my shoemaking skills.i sat and think alof which design to make and I start by getting materials and cutting with the first idea to comes to mind which the results is so amazing after the completion of the palm slippers.

THE BRIEF EXPLANATION HOW I MADE THE PALM
Materials used
FEMALE SOLE
MARKO 6
BROWN PLAIN LEATHER
BROWN DESIGN LEATHER
THICK LINEN
STEP 1
We will start from the sole and insole making by using the sole to cut the Marko 6 then apply gum to the Marko and the plain brown leather then fold the edges to make up the insoles and a the sole is already bought in market

STEP 2
The next stage is to craft our upper by using a paper to draft the design out before placing on the design leather and trave with a pen and cut out with scissors.Now apply gum on the upper cutted and thick linen to make it thicker and stand .Move to your sewing machine and sew the edges of the leather to make it more attractive.

STEP 3
NOW the palm is almost done which we will continue by lasting the palm to the insole and gum all together sole,apply gum to the edges of the upper and insole then use your wooden last to set to client size .apply gum to all the sole and lasted upper then gum together when dry.

Now the palm is ready!!!!!!!!!
