At this point I know I'm on a roll for the number of headpieces I've posted in a row and we have my clients to thank for that.

An old acquaintance reached out a while back to know if I was still into crocheting saying her friend was interested in getting something for the weekend and obviously I said yes. Her friend reached out almost immediately and we got into it.

She wanted to get a scarf to complete and outfit I didn't ask what it was though so we cleared the process and I got into it.

She picked off-white, carton and brown in this color pattern I've made. I'll be honest it felt a bit odd since I mostly do lighter shade to darker shade or darker shade to lighter shade not dark, lighter and darkest but I mean it's crochet so I knew it'll turn out well

It has been ages since I last made a scarf so this felt nostalgic making a triangular granny stitch. Changing colors and watching it grow row after row. But that wasn't the best part. The best part was doing the finishing.

Stitching the sides, hiding the yarns that were sticking out and stitching the rope for the bandana. It was somewhat calming if you ask me

The scarf gave up a cool vibe and I enjoyed making every part of it.i made a keychain as well to include in the order as a freebie.

To make it extra special, I added a two-sided flower keychain, one piece, two looks. I was referencing the phrase “there's two sides to every coin” . I hope I got that right.

She was a first time client so a little something to make her feel seen is what I was trying to do and I think my message was received clearly.

I could have made anything but Flowers were a symbol of beauty and it also gave a feminine touch to the whole order.

Flowers make me happy and I thought why not pass in the happiness to someone else. And gifting or adding freebies to me means a lot since I'd love to put in a lot of thought into my clients order process like make them feel special even before they get to see their main order. The joy before the joy as I'd like to say.

I had thought s while making this ; should I try another later, should I remake in a different mix, should I make it a thing, will it look good, will it flop. Yunno all the random thoughts one could have when you have hours of silence ahead of you. I. Happy I actually made it but more happy that it came out just how my client wanted it.

This scarf was such a delight to make, and pairing it with the two-sided flower keychain made it feel even more thoughtful. Sometimes the smallest touches carry the loudest thank-yous.
