Siempre hemos escuchado decir que cada tejido es único y si a eso le sumamos que cada pieza es creada con mucho amor entonces estaríamos hablando de pasión. Nuestras manos son capaces de tejer cada día cosas hermosas sea grande, mediana o gigante, unicolor o a color, de una o muchas puntadas y es que en el tejido siempre hay diversidad para trabajar.

We have always heard that each weaving is unique and if we add to that that each piece is created with a lot of love then we would be talking about passion. Our hands are capable of weaving beautiful things every day, be it big, medium or giant, one color or colored, with one or many stitches, and the fact is that in weaving there is always diversity to work with.

Un día tejemos una flor y en el siguiente proyecto queremos una blusa. Por eso y más es que amamos el tejido, porque es algo que podemos llevar a todos lados o simplemente tejerlo en casa, no importa si hace frio o calor, no importa si llueve o cae la nieve, no importa tampoco en qué lugar del mundo vives, porque el tejido es universal.

One day we knit a flower and in the next project we want a blouse. For that and more is why we love knitting, because it is something we can take everywhere or simply knit at home, no matter if it is hot or cold, no matter if it rains or snows, no matter where in the world you live, because knitting is universal.

Nunca podré olvidar uno de los mejores trabajos que he visto en mis 7 años en la plataforma, lo hizo una compañera de Needleworkmonday llamada @Vliet quien ya no está lamentablemente, y digo lamentable, no porque se haya muerto, sino porque no quiso escribir más.

I will never forget one of the best works I have seen in my 7 years on the platform, it was made by a fellow Needleworkmonday member named @Vliet who is sadly no longer here, and I say sadly, not because she died, but because she didn't want to write anymore.

Hice una búsqueda en su blog y le hice un capture a la imagen de ese proyecto que les comento, se trata de una flor hecha con tejido de crochet irlandés. Creo que es la tercera vez que hago esto de ir a mirar esa flor para ver como se hace y ver si yo puedo; en definitiva es una flor que se encuentra en mi lista de proyectos por realizar y espero algún día poder tacharla. ¿Bella, verdad?

I did a search on her blog and I captured the image of the project I am telling you about, it is a flower made with Irish crochet fabric. I think it's the third time I've done this to look at this flower to see how to make it and see if I can; it's definitely a flower that is on my list of projects to be done and I hope someday I can cross it off. Beautiful, isn't it?

Hoy les traigo otro proyecto, un cojín que acompañara a mi cojín de yute en uno de los rincones de la casa. La verdad que ya era hora de cambiar el aspecto de los cojines que hice hace un tiempo y darle color a mis espacios; así que sin pensarlo dos veces me levanté ayer con ese pensamiento y puse manos a la obra.

Today I bring you another project, a cushion to go with my jute cushion in one of the corners of the house. The truth is that it was time to change the look of the cushions I made some time ago and give color to my spaces; so without thinking twice I woke up yesterday with that thought and got down to work.

Para hacerlo no fue menester salir de casa, busqué todos los hilos que tenía por alli guardados, de esos que siempre sobran y comencé a tejer.

La verdad fue muy facil, hice dos caras iguales y luego las pegué por el borde con punto bajo. Súper sencillo, sin mucha complicación.

To do it I didn't need to leave the house, I looked for all the threads I had stored there, those that are always left over and I started to knit.

The truth was very easy, I made two equal sides and then I glued them by the edge with low stitch. Super simple, without much complication.
