It's been a minute here. I've been busy with my final project..And, that particular project is after my life 🤣 but I'll scale through.

I've longed to share every project here on a weekly basis, but some weeks are so occupied that I can't even do so. Last week was one of the busiest week that I didn't remember my phone existed.

I Went to the market for fabric sourcing for my final project, sewed a couple of outfit and drafted for the next assignment.

I don't think I've had a good sleep since then and it's really affecting me. I'll soon be done with school anyways, I think that's the only thing that's boosting my strength and when I'm done. I'll tell you all the ups and downs I faced in fashion school, so that you all can benefit from my experience.

Even though it's hard to show up here consistently, I promised myself that today, I must share something with you beautiful people. I am not one to gate keep, so what I know I share.

It's yet aother kind of corset that's so fine and easy to make.

If you're interested, then grab a seat and enjoy the ride.

It's called a funnel corset. It's is made from bustiers and bonnings are added to it to give it structure.

The way to achieve this is to draft your basic bustier and trace out your overbust to underbust which will be cut out.

Then cut out your full bustier bodice as seen in the picture.

After that, you'll make a cage line on the half bustier bodice in order to cage properly.

Caging add firmness to a bustier and it's better for people with fuller bust.

You'll now use a 0.8mm regiment bonning to cage.

For the lower bodice, all you'll do is to attach bonning to the seam lines and part of the bodice. All through the project I worked upon is a See-through bodice, which means there's no lining for it.

If you want lining in yours, then you cut the lining and fabric as same.

This is what the structured bodice look like.

The next thing is to hand tack the half bustier bodice to the full bustier bodice using a hand needle.

And viola.. The funnel corset is ready to be rocked.

At this point, I was about to add eyelet to the gromment bar and just take a look and the result here.

It's giving perfection. It's giving elegance, finesse and luxury.

This is another corset I love so much, it's far from the regular, leaving you snatched and covered.
