Hello beautiful members of the community.

Today I'm here to share with you the process of making a conical effect on an over bust blouse.

By now, I'm certain that bust caging would no longer be a thing as I've shared how to achieve it in so many ways.

If you're still having doubts, then feel free to reply to this post and share your concerns with me, as I'll be in the comment section looking for ways to help you achieve it.

Now, back to the purpose of this post. Have you seen a blouse with some sort of exaggerated hip effect? Well, that's what we call the conical effect.

Achieving the conical effect is the same process with making a bust caging. This means that, if you can properly cage a bust, you can effectively make a conical effect.

The material needed are just boning, fiber to flesh, collar stay, hair stay and your fabric.

Basically, you can draft your regular bustier and cage the bust part and at the blouse length, you can make a round shape with your pen and interface that spot with a peplum or hard collar stay.

After which, you secure it with a 8mm Rigilene boning giving it a basket shape. Ensure the curved part of the boning is facing the fabric as seen in the picture.

Then you can flesh with fibre. Fleshing means covering up the caged exaggerated hip effect so it's not obvious. All of these are done on the lining of the blouse.

Leave one part of the grommet bar to turn the main fabric and the lining out and viola, your beautiful conical effect blouse is ready to be rocked.

This blouse can be worn in different ways. Rocked with a pair of trouser could be worn on a dress, can be paired with a skirt and so on.

Hope you learned something from this post. I'll see you in my next month. Until then, please stay safe and stay happy.

Even with this step by step process, I don't think I can understand it. Looks so complicated to me and I find it amazing you can do this kind of style yourself. But anyways, wish you can try it on so that we can see how pretty it is βœ¨πŸ’ƒ

With time you'll understand it. Maybe some day I'll wear it and take a shot.
