Sunset Ride
The Skytrain is one of the engineering marvels in the city of Vancouver. This autonomous train rail system crisscrosses the city on an elevated line, which sometimes dips underground, moving passengers from east to west and vice versa. In this image I caught the last rays of the sun as it dipped in the western horizon.

These types of projects sometimes suffer delays and cost overruns. There is a fast train in California that began in 2008, spent billions of dollars, and now the line has been made shorter 🤦♂ I hope the MRT in your city turns out great. :)
Hopefully, but looking back and knowing who crooked are my government and the people in it, I doubt it will be on time. But fingers crossed though.
I'm a big fan of train travel. In our part of the world there are limited options, but I especially enjoy being able to travel on a train when possible.
The Skytrain here is elevated, so passengers get to see some neat views of the city. It's very convenient when you don't want to drive.
Waiting for the train with that great view towards the sun, I love it!
I like how each train station is unique with interesting art and design.
And the angle and focus of the photo makes it even more artful!
This would've been perfect for a panoramic shot. I wish I could post panoramic/sphere photos on Hive. It would give the scene a more three-dimensional feel. :)
