The snow is a fairly rare phenomenon here where I live. It falls for a few days each year in the inland areas of this region, from fifty to a hundred kilometers north of my hometown, but in my southern, seaside place, the snow comes once or twice in a decade, and usually, it doesn't even last a whole day.
As always, or in most cases, at least, when something is rare, it tends to become special and precious. That's probably why I love snow very much. I like its color, its texture, and how the snowflakes look through the magnifying glass. I also like how the air smells on a typical snowy day.
Since I don't travel much I don't encounter snow very often. With that said ...

(Enlargeable)

... you can imagine how overwhelmed with joy I was while approaching an entire planet made of snow.
Nivalitor 3zX is orbiting one of the stars on the outskirts of our galaxy. I didn't have enough money to visit the nearby Alps, so I built myself a rocket in the backyard and went flying high.
The one and only photograph of this post was taken while I was orbiting Nivalitor 3zX. I was holding the camera with only one hand becouse the other one was busy holding a cup of mulled wine.
The photograph shows a detail of the equatorial topography of the planet.
There is plenty of intelligent life under the snow but I was there just to have a bit of fun not on an unpaid diplomatic mission so I didn't make the contact.
I mean, you can send me to onboard aliens on Hive, but it must be a well-organized thing, not just a whimsical expedition with no clear goal besides having a bit of winter fun.

AND THAT'S IT. HAVE A GREAT DAY, OR NIGHT, WHEREVER IN THE UNIVERSE YOU ARE. THE ONLY PHOTOGRAPH IN TODAY'S EPIC SHITPOST IS MY WORK.

The snow looks so beautiful
I've never seen a snow before. Do you know that snows do not fall in Nigeria?

I didn't know exactly, but I kinda expected it. 🙂 I like the snow, but I like the warm part of the year when insects and spiders are active even more. Much more. And that's mostly becouse I have more macro stuff to photograph.
Is Nigeria always warm enough for all the little animals to be active and visible the whole year round?

Wow! So much snow, I love the view it. Seriously, The view of this was indeed worth having a cup of mulled wine to complete the joy.

Some parts of the UK can catch more snow than other regions, usually any time between December and March. I think snow looks very pretty, but I don't enjoy feeling cold !LOL

Have a nice day Borjan !ALIVE !VSC

Sometimes I used to wonder people who live around here, how do they cope with winter at its peak

Broh, I do envy you!! Laughs I won't mind for it to snow here! I think the last time we had snow was in the 1980's xD

I'm right there with you though! The cold is amazing! I'd choose that over heat ANY day!!

I like the warmth and heat only becouse there are more insects, spiders, and other macro things to photograph in those weather conditions. 😃But I feel better when is cold. But I started liking it better only relatively recently, five or six years ago. Before that, heat and the strong summer sun didn't bother me. Now I get weak and dizzy in the sun pretty often.

Just like The Betty, she also loves the heat! I'm sure that will change over time..

See the cold takes away the mosquitos here by us so for that I am happy, although I noticed that eating garlic and or chilli sauces or chilli foods keeps them at bay quite nicely 😂

It's a shame that in Indonesia there is only one place that has snow and it is very far from where I live

On the one hand it's cool that you got some rare snow, on the other hand I worry when I hear about freak weather events like these.
