There are many humorous sayings about our desires and our possibilities and in all of them desires and possibilities do not converge at one point.
For example you want to eat ice cream, but your pocket is empty or you have the financial ability to contribute to a charitable foundation but you have no desire to do so here are simple examples of this inconsistency between our desires and our capabilities.
It’s good when we have both the desire and the opportunity most often this can be observed in resorts where people saved all year long in order to be able to visit the resort during their holidays and desires are a dime a dozen there.
In all these cases the goal of our desires is to receive a portion of happiness both from understanding that we have the opportunity and from realizing this in the form of the fulfillment of our desires.
But it happens that even having both a desire and an opportunity this does not add happiness as for example a flower whose nature is to desire to see the sun and he sees it, this opportunity is provided to him but the flower has dried up and his desire and his opportunity turn out to be absolutely useless and do not bring him joy.
This was the next dish of my molecular cuisine.
