If all the roads lead to Rome... πŸ‘£

It is a common thing to hear the phrase "all the roads lead to Rome". For me it's kind of funny because in Spanish we have this same sentence, and we have another one that is pretty similar: "You can get to Rome by asking". I'm not the kind of person that usually turns simple stuff into philosophical ones, but today I kinda will.

After some time analyzing myself, I realized that one of my core struggles is starting things. I can spend hours thinking about a project until I have no energy to actually start it at all. It's been frustrating, cause I can see myself achieving all the goals I want in life, but in reality I make no movement.

The reason why I brought those popular phrases is because I started to ask myself: If all the roads lead to Rome and you can get there by "asking", then why you just don't start actually walking? Eventually the time to arrive will come.

The thing is, nobody said that you had to get there in just one day. Knowing that I could accomplish a task in just one day is the reason why I would always leave it for later and never do it. My realization is that, in order to actually do things, I had first to reduce the loads of work. In my head, ot was better to do little every day than getting burned out every time I attempted to do something. And it worked out.

In conclusion, if you want to get to Rome, learn to walk first πŸ€“.

This whole post sounded better in my head. I hope that you could get the message anyways. Bye!

One of the thing I learned is to stop overthinking and just do it. If you meet a trouble, just think about it while you're at it. That's how things get done much faster and you learn much faster too.

I'mma try to this. One of my goals is to reduce the time between planning and actually acting. Thank you very much! πŸ’—

At some point in life just doing things becomes more important than endlessly planing things to do. Perfection is the number one enemy of good enough.
