Mother, I still want to hear your voice, I still want to see your face😭

April 1, 2025 is the day my mother left forever, leaving behind stories, moments, warm memories that are still stored until now. In my tears, I strengthened myself to write this blog as a memory so that this moment can be stored neatly here.

Moments with my little family while taking care of my mother in the hospital

Mom is the greatest and strongest woman, she has been trying to fight her illness, cancer for about the past year. Around August 2024, mom started her first operation to remove cancer cells in her left breast, as a result the operation went smoothly and everything was successful, after undergoing surgery mom had to undergo chemotherapy 6 times, and again this also went smoothly and successfully, after chemotherapy mom was able to do activities almost as usual, making me feel very satisfied and happy because I saw mom had recovered.

And I thought it was over, but it turned out that fate had other plans. Three months after chemotherapy, my mother's illness relapsed and caused many other lumps on her body, so she had to be rushed to the hospital for a second operation.

But fortunately the second operation also went smoothly, but a big problem occurred after this. After the second operation, my mother was referred to a hospital outside the area (Medan) to immediately undergo radiotherapy or often called rays, but of course it was not easy, because she had to wait for this and that, so my mother reached the worst condition, which was unconscious, so she was forced to be referred to a hospital in Aceh Tamiang first to speed up the process, and it turned out that the fluid in my mother's body was full so it had to be sucked, but the equipment at the Aceh Tamiang hospital was incomplete, so she had no choice but to be referred again to a hospital outside the city (Medan)

At Adam Malek Hospital my mother was treated for about 2 weeks, and they gave information that chemotherapy had to be done first before radiotherapy (rays) could be taken, because my mother's disease had spread, so my mother was forced to undergo the second stage of chemotherapy.

My mother should have had chemotherapy immediately, but because there was still fluid in her lungs, the first step was to remove all the fluid first, then my mother could have chemotherapy. However, day by day my mother's condition worsened, she experienced severe shortness of breath, long story short, on April 1, 2025 my mother breathed her last.
