Present Your Community .:. Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.07 (Wednesday, December 6)
I'm probably biased, but the last show was one of the best ever! (check out the recorded show here) I mean, we had only 6 shows yet, but still... 😃 Why it was the best? Well, because of the awesome audience, of course! The topic was great and the people from the audience unselfishly were sharing the experience and knowledge about it on the mic and in the chat channel! It was such a great view, to see people helping each other out...
In one moment, the "sub-topic" was to suggest good communities for the newbies, where they can find useful information about HIVE in general, what to do when they come to HIVE, and where to find more additional information... Everyone in the audience agreed that communities are one of the crucial aspects of our blockchain and I have decided to create this show (and not just this one... keep reading... 🙂), completely dedicated to communities!

The idea is to run an "open mic" type of show... Okay, I know, it was like that from the beginning, but hear me out... If you are a community creator, a moderator, or just a big fan of a certain community, you will be able to come on the mic (or in the written form in the chat) and present YOUR COMMUNITY!!! It is your moment to shine and present your vision and how you plan to develop your community... As the show will be recorded, even people who aren't in LIVE with us will be able to hear about your community and maybe Subscribe and create content in it!!
As it is hard to predict how many people would like to present their community, I would say that you can plan around 5-10 min the most per community... If you want to present your community, I would appreciate it if you confirm it in the comment section of this post! It will be easier for me to plan the show... Thanks in advance!
Feel free to invite other community admins/moderators to the show!!!
I have prepared a short list of questions that could help you with creating notes to talk about...
- When did you create your community?
- How many subscribers it has?
- What is your community's main niche?
- Do you accept other languages except English?
- Do you have special rules for the community? (special day of posting, adult content, etc.)
- How many daily/weekly posts do your community have?
- Do you have the support of some curator projects? If not, would you like to be supported?
Of course, closer to the end of the show, we can discuss some off-topic things too... If something is bothering you, if you have some questions regarding HIVE, Ecency, or something crypto-related... All questions are welcome!!!

How was it the last time? Check it out in the Recap of HHHLive post, where you can find the recording of the show, but also a summary of what we were talking about... Don't forget that NOBODY is obligated to talk in the show, so you CAN come to listen and engage in the text chat... 😉
What steps you should take now:
- Join Ecency Discord here
- Check out your local time for the event at the top of the Ecency DISCORD side menu
- Click on the chat-voice channel on Wednesday, 5 PM UTC (check your local time 👆👆)
- Follow the event-chat channel during the show and engage with others!
- Share the buzz about the show on Ecency Waves and InLeo threads using the tag #HHHLive and be rewarded with upvotes!

It will be good to talk about people's communities. I know very little about communities other than the ones I often visit and I would love to hear about them.
I can talk about the Turkish community if no one else does :)

We will see how it goes tomorrow... It would be great to hear information from the first hand, by community admins and creators, but if not, we will share our favorite communities and talk about them!

It's an interesting topic and it would be interesting to see what people have to say. I have only been part of a community and never really made one.
I didn't make one either, but I do have some of my favorites... Of course, if we don't count people around @Liotes, which is a community... but not like these others on HIVE... :)
It sounds like the last show was truly amazing. The idea of dedicating a show to communities and allowing community creators to present their vision is great.
This is a great way to showcase the diversity and importance of different communities within the blockchain especially here on Hive. I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to the next show so they can learn more about the various communities. Maybe, I am one of them. 😉
