A few days ago, a friend and I analyzed the various options available for promoting content published on a Hive-based blog. Our goal was to increase its visibility, attract more readers to the blockchain ecosystem, and thus encourage more active community participation and strengthen HIVE's position within the crypto market.
To select the social networks, we established three criteria: number of users, user activity levels, and user interaction with the links shared on each particular network. This resulted in a very simple top three.
It's worth noting that this was more of a mental exercise than a truly detailed crypto market research project. None of us are experts in the field; we simply sought to compile information from other sources that was organized in a way that was understandable to us. Afterward, we decided to share what we had learned.
The answer I was able to get, after a review and some research, indicated that if you're creating blockchain content like HIVE, it's key to know where to share it so it reaches those who really need it. Simply publishing isn't enough: you have to promote strategically.
1. Facebook: The Traffic Giant
Active Users: ~3.2 billion per month Activity: High (very frequently used daily!) Link Engagement: Excellent — almost 25% of web traffic comes from here.
Why does it work?
It has cryptocurrency groups where people discuss, learn, and share content.
If you publish a clear guide like "How to get started with HIVE without spending a penny" and share it in groups like "Cryptocurrencies for beginners" or "HIVE Blockchain," you'll get plenty of clicks!
Facebook not only shows your post, but also recommends it to more people if the content is useful.
👉 Ideal if you want to reach many new users who don't yet know what HIVE is.
2. X (formerly Twitter): The Place for Real-Time Conversations
Active Users: ~550–586 million Activity: Very high — it's where crypto is being talked about right nowLink Engagement: Good — average CTR of 0.8–0.9% on paid campaigns.
Why does it work?
The crypto community on X is very active. If you post a thread like "5 Common Mistakes When Using HIVE (and How to Avoid Them)", it will generate conversation!
Use hashtags like #HIVE, #Crypto, #Blockchain to get more people to see it.
Tweets with links to your blog are easily read and shared, especially if the content is short and clear.

3. Reddit: Communities That Value Real Content
Active Users: +760 million Activity: High — over 100 million daily discussions Link Engagement: Very good — users read and comment on links that provide value.
Why does it work?
Subreddits like r/Bitcoin, r/ethereum, r/HiveBlockchain, or r/DeFi are full of people looking for technical information.
If you publish a guide like "How to Earn HIVE with Quality Content (Without Investing)", and share it on r/Hive or r/CryptoCurrency, it will receive in-depth comments and qualified clicks!
Reddit doesn't tolerate spam, so your post should be useful, not just promotional.

Hace algunos días, analicé junto con un amigo las distintas opciones disponibles para promocionar los contenidos publicados en un blog basado en #hive, con el objetivo de incrementar su visibilidad, atraer a un mayor número de lectores hacia el ecosistema blockchain y, de esta manera, fomentar una participación más activa de la comunidad, así como fortalecer la posición de dicha blockchain dentro del cripto mercado.
Para la selección de las Redes Sociales, establecimos tres criterios: Cantidad de usuarios, niveles de actividad de los usuarios, y la interacción de los usuarios con los enlaces que se compartían en esa red en particular. Eso nos arrojó un Top-3 muy sencillo.
Hay que se trato más de un ejercicio mental que una investigación de criptomercados realmente detallada. No somos en realidad, ninguno de nosotros, expertos en la materia simplemente buscamos recopilar informaciones presentes en otros lugares que se organizaron de manera que nos resultará comprensible. Al terminar decidimos compartir lo que habíamos podido entender.
La respuesta que pude obtener, después una revisión y ciertamente armar un poco la información, apuntaban a que sí estás creando contenido sobre la blockchain como HIVE, es clave saber dónde compartirlo para que llegue a quienes realmente lo necesitan. No basta con publicar: hay que promocionar estratégicamente.

Usuarios activos: ~3.2 mil millones al mes
Actividad: Alta (¡muy usado diariamente!)
Interacción con enlaces: Excelente — casi el 25% del tráfico web viene de aquí.
¿Por qué funciona?
Tiene grupos de criptomonedas donde la gente discute, aprende y comparte contenido.
Si publicas una guía clara como "Cómo empezar en HIVE sin gastar un centavo" y la compartes en grupos como "Criptomonedas para principiantes" o "HIVE Blockchain", ¡vas a tener buenos clics!
Facebook no solo muestra tu post, sino que lo recomienda a más personas si el contenido es útil.
👉 Ideal si quieres alcanzar a muchos usuarios nuevos que aún no saben qué es HIVE.
