A few days ago I decided to check my Memrise account, an app that I already had open but hadn't used in a long time. The truth is that I felt a little lost among so many options, but remembering that this platform is free, has a good reputation and works on both web and mobile, it seemed like an excellent option to start over.

Why Memrise?

What I liked most about Memrise is that it offers quality free content, especially for practicing vocabulary and improving listening comprehension. There are many videos and audios with native speakers, which helps to hear the language in real contexts. In addition, it uses a spaced review system, which is a very useful tool to better memorize words and phrases.

Works on various devices

Another key reason was that I can use Memrise from both my computer and my cell phone. This allows me to study when I have a free minute, whether in transport or before going to sleep. It is ideal for creating daily habits without having to pay anything up front.

Yes, there is a premium version, but I don't need to pay anything to get started. I can use the app as I want, without pressure or limits that hold me back. It's perfect for someone like me who wants to try it out before committing to something more serious.

Now I'm going to dedicate some time to Memrise, and in a few days or weeks I'll tell you how it goes. I'll see if I feel improvements in my vocabulary, in how I understand English when I hear it, and if I can really make it part of my daily routine.

Mi Vuelta a Memrise para Aprender Inglés

Hace unos días decidí revisar mi cuenta en Memrise, una app que ya tenía abierta pero que no había usado en mucho tiempo. La verdad es que me sentía un poco perdido entre tantas opciones, pero al recordar que esta plataforma es gratuita, tiene buena reputación y funciona tanto en web como en móvil, me pareció una excelente opción para empezar de nuevo.

¿Por Qué Memrise?

Lo que más me gustó de Memrise es que ofrece contenido gratuito de calidad, especialmente para practicar vocabulario y mejorar la comprensión auditiva. Hay muchos videos y audios con hablantes nativos, lo que ayuda a escuchar el idioma en contextos reales. Además, usa un sistema de repaso espaciado, que es una herramienta muy útil para memorizar mejor las palabras y frases.

Funciona en diversos dispositivos

Otra razón clave fue que puedo usar Memrise tanto desde mi computadora como desde mi celular. Eso me permite estudiar cuando tenga un minuto libre, ya sea en el transporte o antes de dormir. Es ideal para crear hábitos diarios sin necesidad de pagar nada al principio.

Sí, hay una versión premium, pero no necesito pagar nada para empezar. Puedo usar la app como quiero, sin presión ni límites que me frenen. Es perfecto para alguien como yo que quiere probar antes de comprometerse con algo más serio.
