My First Hive Anniversary - Happy 1 Year Hiveversary to me

Hello friends. I welcome you all to my blog on this beautiful Sunday. The day is meant to be a beautiful one as it's my first anniversary on Hive, and I've been looking forward to getting a notification from #hivebuzz with a badge that indicates my one year on Hive. It's truly amazing how time flies, especially when we are busy. I remember this same day, November 2nd, 2024, when I joined Hive after a WhatsApp status posted by my onboarder and mentor @beauty197. There was a workshop organized by her about the #spendhbd project, and a number of us attended to learn more. Looking back to the people who got registered on the same day as me made me realize that each person's progress depends on how much effort and sacrifice they are willing to give to it. Amongst the people who got onboarded the same day with me, it's just I and @iquo who is still active, and she is really trying her best to put in more effort through consistent engagements.

Initially, everything seemed odd, and I didn't understand a thing, but I was determined to try my best to understand, put effort, and grow on the platform. I believed in Hive because I saw the potential, and I also trusted the person who introduced it to me. She was so kind and patient with me, putting me through and helping me to learn at my own pace. I clearly remember my introduction saga and how I almost gave up because I didn't really understand how to use #ecency frontend well. I came to appreciate the draft features because when I thought all hell was loose and I had lost all I wrote, my heart leaped for joy when I found it in drafts.

I'm also happy about my progress and achievements in the space of one year. I've made good friends who made learning and exploring Hive easier. I'm also enjoying #microblogging. This is an added excitement for me on Hive, and it makes it easier to chat and stay connected with friends. I'm still learning, Hive is broad, and I understand more each day, thanks to those kind friends who are always willing to help out.

Thanks to everyone who has made my one year journey a smooth and fun ride for me.
