Why there is no trending post for me?

Greetings friends!

I am active on Hive since 2018 when crypto prices were on their peak. I know some of you might be thinking that I am joking as #hive blockchain was not in the existing in 2018. These friends are not wrong as hive emerged in the later time when it came into existence after the hard fork of #steem blockchain. So, technically I am active on hive since 2018.

Since I joined, I saw other people's posts which had been trending or at least being hot. No doubt those people had tried hard and some of them were really deserving or are still deserving. But, some ordinary posts also get trending and earn a big profit for the creator of them. I had written on various topics and I can say that some of my posts had been well written, full of knowledge and I had done a my best for their writing. But, I could never get a chance to see my posts trending or at least showing in the 'hot' section. I have no clue about it. I was thinking that good contents are rewarded and one gets enough upvotes for a well drafted and rich content. My reputation score is still 66, despite of my sincere efforts and even after vote buying. This is very disheartening. I am seriously thinking about to quit.

I apologize to interrupt you..
am also has been the active user since 2018 market was on its peak.
No doubt that time "Bid bot" was active that's why there were so many trending post either in hotlist or in trending page.
I never checked whether my post was in trending or not but one thing is definitely I can say, within 5 year I able to hit 77 reputation.
I have seen you have very expensive and valuable splinterland package including card but I hardly see any battle maze post or social media share(with following the guidelines) from your side.
within 2 month there are two are three post for Splinterlands but without following guideline. There is no splinterlands related appropriate tag.
Rest of the post for Dbuzz or Dpoll.
I know you can do much better. You can make post for another community and also can make awesome post for Splinterlands...

Thank you bro @certain . आप जैसे मित्रों का सहयोग हमेशा मिलता रहा है। बहुत पहले मैं काफी ऐक्टिव रहता था लेकिन जितना मेरा प्रयास था उतना लाभ नहीं मिल पाया। अगर मैं कोई पोस्ट बहुत मेहनत से लिखता हूँ लेकिन जब वो ज्यादा लोगों तक नहीं पँहुचे तो दुख होता है। इसलिए निराश हूँ।

Hard to tell. I didn´t check too much, but I suggest to focus on certain topics and add some information to posts instead of just asking questions. The point is to create some value so that people follow you and looking forward to your next content.
I also would always choose the optimal communities and tags.
E.g. ecency or dbuzz community, I would never ever post there, as they are too generous. Who checks the feed of the dbuzz community? Howover leofinance, "ask hive" or other communities are probably better monitored and curated.

I also would avoid using istock fotos, those are watermarked to protect their copyright and should be not taken. Why not create a new image using the AI tools, then you would have some originality instead of the boring stock photos.

You've gotten great advice already from other commenters. If you play Splinterlands, certainly create more posts via that community, following their guidelines, and post in their discord promotion channel.
Pay attention to what other topics get better upvotes and do more of those as well. I have a fav topic to write on but I don't do it here because in the past it wasn't well supported... and just haven't since I've been back.

I haven't checked to see how often you post, but if it's every day, then maybe cut back to every other day, in addition to focusing on 1 or 2 higher paying topics that you enjoy covering. I'll also add you to my auto-vote list in case I don't catch your posts to manually vote or pass through to comment. It's wonderful knowing you're still here... I remember you from way back when... and I look forward to you continuing on and enjoying higher rewards too.
