I've been messing around with the Leica app on my iPhone 15 Pro for the last few days after Peter McKinnon did a video on it. Even using the standard preset in photo mode, the tweaks are similar to how I would adjust my phone pictures, so it saves me a little time when doing edits.

OK, this is where we really need to read the whole article ... they moved it to an even year to bring it in line with the midterm for turnout purposes ... that's been done across the country and is a pre-Trump move because turnout in odd years is SO LOW that incumbents usually cruise anyhow. This was handled badly ... but it is not the end of democracy

But it is 2025 -- to get to 2026, the next mid-term election, they have to do it this year. Now, if they were SMART, they would have done it years ahead like San Francisco so the people would have had a chance to know what the implication is and choose whether they wanted to extend the term on the ballot. Our previous mayor also served an extra year, but we knew in advance.

I'm using the free tier from Oracle for some hourly sql query scripts. Works well, but these are not resource intensive.
You do need a CC to register, but the service is free.

its a welcoming bot for the Hive Ecuador community... it would be listening to specific posts with specific metatags and keep a list of curated posts. this is for onboards. I have it working at the moment, but replit kills it after 30 min or so.

Oracle has a pretty generous free tier: https://www.oracle.com/cloud/free/

You could also keep rotating it on multiple VPS provider's free trial(Digital Ocean, Hetzner, Vultr, etc).

At the end of the day though, VPS are pretty cheap and it might just be better to pay for one.

I am also getting sometimes very lenghty comments in German from not even German native speakers. I suspect some are AI-generated from comment farmers.

I've been using the new Post Curation Tool by @ecoinstant for my photography curation quite a bit now.
Very nice to in- and/or exclude tags, users and communities!

You can bookmark the URL of your search for daily usage. This was mine:

The most Actifit posts I see only have one picture, so that is why I exclude them.
The option to filter on low word count is another variable that is on the list to implement.

low word count is something else, one should be able to say at least something about their images, but on the other hand there are artist who like to let their photos speak for themselves and might not be able to put their thoughts in words, big world, many options out there …

My only issue with opening more packs is that I need only a precious few more cards. I'm basically selling through everything I open, so it feels like a grind to me, rather than experiencing a fun lottery.

After the border dried for a few days, I started today painting the anthracite squares… it is coming along so good 😊

That's what's up! But I think the hive node system needs an overhaul maybe introduce a light node to make it more decentralized and also there is no direct incentive to run a regular node only witness nodes that is totally messed up in my opinion

A light node already exists using block-log-split = 0 to store only chain state, which is currently 22GB stored in ramdisk and will be 6GB (+4GB comment objects on disk) in the next release.

Solanaの仕様上、トークンをそのアカウントで始めて利用する際はトークンの”送信者”が0.002SOLを支払ってトークン用にアカウントを作ります。不要となった際は”受信者”がトークン用のアカウントを削除して、0.002SOLもらえます。

STEPNからGSTを取り出すとGSTのトークンアカウントが作成されるので、利確のスワップ後にGSTのトークンアカウントを削除すると0.002SOLもらえます。（ゲームからGSTを出す際の手数料分ですね）

GSTに限らず、使っていないトークンやスキャムは削除して、0.002 SOLに替えちゃうとよいです。私もかなりたまってていい意味で驚きでした。
GSTについては出金時に0.002SOL分のGSTを払っているので、トークンアカウントを閉じるのは問題ないと思いますが、やりすぎると運営に睨まれるかもしれないので、GSTを一定貯めて他トークンにかえる度に（月一回とかで）やるのがよいと思います。
