That's a good question. I can't imagine bots not being better than us at everything by that point. You have to figure UBI will be everywhere in 100 years. Think the young are in for a good time in the future even if lots of disruption and unemployment during the changeover.

I've got to remember to copy the things I write BEFORE I actually "post" them. Far too often, I actually think about what I want to write, type it out (stupid slowly on mobile), then hit "send", but somehow I mess it up and it just goes into etherspace. Then, I'm too frustrated and don't want to do it all over so it was all for naught. The only result is time wasted and exasperation.
Yeah I learned this the hard way too before, so now what I do when i'm on my bike and see something to snap I tell siri to make a note, then siri writes my idea in the note, then i edit the note a little bit if needed, and copy the note into peakd, upload and fingers crossed.

It won't be close to that. The reality that people in 2125 will experience will be like magic to us. I think AI amplifies the cadence of technological changes many times over so it'll probably be like comparing how we are now to maybe two thousand years ago.

That's a good question. I can't imagine bots not being better than us at everything by that point. You have to figure UBI will be everywhere in 100 years. Think the young are in for a good time in the future even if lots of disruption and unemployment during the changeover.
For sure, the younger generation will be the biggest winners despite all the challenges they'll encounter at first. I just hope there aren't many wildcards among the way, will AGI exist and turn rogue, for example.

My dad loved to sing. Up until the time he passed he was still going to some old folks homes pounding out some chords on the piano and belting out his songs. Drew quite a crowd from what I remember. :)

The latter is really really hard. Somehow, something in us refuses to easily forget the hurt we felt.
I've got to remember to copy the things I write BEFORE I actually "post" them. Far too often, I actually think about what I want to write, type it out (stupid slowly on mobile), then hit "send", but somehow I mess it up and it just goes into etherspace. Then, I'm too frustrated and don't want to do it all over so it was all for naught. The only result is time wasted and exasperation.

Yeah I learned this the hard way too before, so now what I do when i'm on my bike and see something to snap I tell siri to make a note, then siri writes my idea in the note, then i edit the note a little bit if needed, and copy the note into peakd, upload and fingers crossed.
For me, it's not writing down the insights I have fast enough before my thoughts shift into something else and I forget the insight entirely :/
Absolutely that too. Many times I've had a thought and knew it would go away, so I jotted a quick note down on paper or phone.
I think I'll just end up doing the same thing lol, despite the friction to pick up the pen or open a note taking app to jot down the thought(s) :)
