Nigerian Stew and white rice has always been my to go meal to prepare without a doubt, and I must say the taste is always superb.

I remember the first time I discovered this recipe, I usually don't like cooked fresh tomato, i prefer using the paste but that day, I decided to. What was the reason?

I was still in university, I and my friends decided I should Make stew and of course I don't want to disappoint my friends, I went to the market and got fresh tomato and seeded nutmeg which if I may, is the secret to my unique taste.

Well after preparing this stew with white rice, and everyone started getting a taste including me... my goodness, I was very much impressed. In my mind i was like, am definitely making this at home when I traveled back, and I did.

That was not all, I was always called upon from that day henceforth to make stew and rice, and obviously I was not ready to disappoint.

I don't eat much pepper but my stew always carries a mixture of different kinds of pepper's, both the riped and unripe to bring out that unique taste for me.

Powdered curry is very much the only powdered spice packed in a satchet that I use, nutmeg can be optional because most times I find it difficult to get the seed, so I can still use the Powdered one in a satchet.

Imagine making this delicious stew, with beef or chicken and adding the well prepared meat stock (broth) in it, it will definitely unlock a new level of taste in your mouth.

You know when you have so much confidence in the meal you are preparing, that's how I feel whenever I am preparing stew and white rice, you don't need to ask me twice.

It makes me so happy how those am cooking it for appreciate and enjoy the meal. And of course adding a chilled carbonated drink or orange juice at the side is a bonus.
