My afternoons at coffee / LOH Contest 279 [EN/ES] 📷 🌼

Describe the perfect afternoon for you. Where would it be? What would you be doing? Tell us the details that would make it perfect!
I read both questions and they seem wonderfully linked. Without a doubt, my perfect afternoon is always a sunset over the sea; I love them, I really enjoy that cool breeze and that smell of sea salt—it seems to rejuvenate us as we watch the sun set over the water.

I love enjoying these seaside spaces in an afternoon; I've visited it many times. If I can't get there during the week, I take a stroll on the weekends. The view from El Morro hill in the city of Lecherías is quite a spectacle.

Coffee or tea? Tell which one you prefer and how you like your coffee or tea drink prepared.

The truth is, I'm a coffee fanatic, and it's the drink I enjoy most in the early mornings as I give thanks for a new day in my garden. Then I sit down at my computer to continue enjoying my most refreshing beverage. I usually drink my coffee without sugar every morning, but in the afternoons, if I have some milk or cocoa powder, I add a teaspoon, which enhances the flavor.

There's nothing like having visitors arrive to give me an excuse to make a new pot of coffee and enjoy the week's news with a neighbor or friend.

The most delicious coffee I've ever had was in Spain. Irish coffee is a very comforting drink to warm the body and lift the soul. It combines hot coffee, Irish whiskey, a touch of brown sugar, and a layer of cream on top. That mixture almost made me want to dance a jota.

I still really miss my weekends with my daughter in Venezuela, where we'd go for a cup of coffee and enjoy a chat to catch up on what was happening at her job.

I can enjoy tea, but I discovered its amazing ability to warm me up in Madrid, and it became a habit to drink it whenever I felt chilly. But I'm still a huge coffee fanatic, drinking it every day.

Describe la tarde perfecta para ti. ¿Dónde estaría? ¿Qué estarías haciendo? ¡Cuéntanos los detalles que lo harían perfecto!
Leo las dos preguntas y me parecen estupendamente enlazadas ambas. Sin duda mi tarde perfecta es siempre un atardecer viendo el mar, me encantan, los disfruto mucho esa brisa fresca y ese olor a sal marina parece rejuvenecernos mientras vemos el sol ocultándose al final del mar.

Disfrutar de estos espacios del mar en una tarde me encanta, la he visitado muchísimas veces, sino puedo acercarme en la semana me doy una vueltica los fines de semana, la vista en el cerro el Morro de la ciudad de Lecherías es todo un espectáculo.

¿Café o té? Dinos cuál prefieres y cómo te gusta preparar tu bebida de café o té.

La verdad es que soy una fanática del café y es la bebida que más disfruto en las mañanas temprano mientras agradezco un nuevo día desde mi jardín, luego me siento frente a la computadora a seguir disfrutando mi bebida más renovadora. Por lo general tomo mi café sin azúcar cada mañana, pero en las tardes sin tengo un poco de leche o cacao en polvo le agrego una cucharadita mejorándose el sabor.

Nada como que llegue alguna visita para tener la excusa y preparar una nueva jarra de café y disfrutar de las últimas noticias de la semana con alguna vecina o amiga.

El café más delicioso que me han preparado fue en España, el café irlandés es una bebida muy reconfortante para calentar el cuerpo y levantar el alma, en ella se combina café caliente, whisky irlandés, un toque de azúcar morena y una capa superior de nata (crema de leche). Aquella mezcla casi podía ponerme a bailar una jota.

Yo todavía extraño mucho mis fines de semana con mi hija en Venezuela donde nos íbamos a tomarnos una tacita de café y disfrutar de alguna conversación para ponernos al día de los acontecimientos en su trabajo.

Puedo disfrutar el té, pero descubrí su gran poder de calentarme ante el frio en Madrid, se me hizo un hábito de tomarlo cuando sentía mucho frio. Pero sigo siendo una fanática del café cada día.
