[LOH-244] I Prefer My Home with Trees, Bahay Kubo as Relaxation Hut, and a Beautiful Garden

With or without a garden? I didn't even think that before, as in as a teenager. I remember Mama had her small garden even before, but I never really appreciated it much. Her red roses in the backyard, I used to just ignore them, and now I'm in regret because I never really got the chance to admire their beauty. We were taught about gardening during school days and even given a role to attend to them. But back then, it was just a responsibility to get a good merit for it.

And in my head before, I am always in a hurry to finish watering them. Still, that moments of my life is one of those unforgettable as well. I only started appreciating one's garden when Mommy D planted different kind of vegetable in our yard. I cab look at them more, admire what's planted in it especially flowers and when they began sprouting fruits and veggies. I saw thier beauty and how beneficial they are in our well being, not to mention the health benefits of what we planted in there.

So to answer these questions here (⁠^⁠.⁠_⁠.⁠^⁠)⁠ﾉ: Are you one of those who prefers a house with or without a garden? Do you like plants? What do you do to take care of them?

Yes! And Yes!

I prefer a house now with a garden. I like both flowers and vegetables. I also like trees, I want them surrounding our house.

Luckily, our land has trees too. I'm sure you already know about our Atis, aside from that we have two guava trees and one Malunggay. Having them is a big help, we don't need to buy them if ever we crave for it. Then there's that malunggay which has a lot of health benefits. We also have Citrus fruit tree and it is still bearing fruits even now, still unripe though.

And yes, I definitely like a garden, it is already in my plan that if ever I got my own land, i'll build a house there and get a spot just for the garden. Ah, a bahay kubo too or a hut to rest or relax while enjoying the view of a garden. I'll fill it with different kind of plant and flowers. The only flowers we have at home right ow is the Santan Flowers.

Ah, wait, we can also enjoy Mama's plants flowers, those that about to sprout fruits and veggies, and when their flowers started to bloom. They also make the garden much livelier and colorful.

As for what I do to take care of them, well, most of them doesn't really need "taking care of" because they will bloom and grow without us tending to them. Mama just check on them from time to time, same as me, when I see her checking them, i'll just follow her like a dog. Haha. And, seriously, each side of our land has plants in it, so wherever we go, we could see them everyday without missing the day.
