[LOH-236] Our One-Week Vacation in Lipa, Where I Had the Most Fun, the Most Unforgettable One

I never really planned any vacation, even before, and it's not like I can afford it. And, even though I want to go try, my number one opposer, or the one that always stop me from even trying, is MYSELF ┐⁠(⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠)⁠┌. I always think of a reason as to why I don't have to go somewhere to enjoy life, and unfortunately, I can always convince myself not to push through it, lol. Or maybe deep inside, I don't really just want to go and spend, even if it's for my own happiness, naman, lol. Aigoooo, this is what I like about myself, but what I hate too. (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Anyways, I'll be sharing with you all my last vacation in Lipa, Batangas, with Mama in my little brother's place <⁠(⁠￣⁠︶⁠￣⁠)⁠↗. That was last December 28, 2024. It was an unforgettable one because that's a first for me, and the first time spending my own money for a vacation. And that's all thanks to Hive, of course (⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠). The money I used for that vacation was from my earnings here on Hive.

So this was me inside a ferry. I was still anxious at that time, but at the same time, I was excited too. I am just so looking forward to the amazing day that was waiting for us in Lipa.

This is what greeted us after coming out from Batangas Port. It's a place where you can find pasalubong, or a take-home for your loved ones. You can buy them after arriving there or if you're about to travel back home already. And there's a lot to choose from. We didn't get anything that day though, i'm sure there's a kot of them too in the Lipa.

One of my unforgettable moments here in Lipa is, of course, my gala with Mama and my little brother. I like every bit of it, as well as food tripping, trying foods and drinks, and checking out shops after shops, including thrift shops.

Even just going to the market is really special for me, that's also the time when we can buy street foods (⁠ﾉﾟ⁠0ﾟ⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠→. To my little brother's favorite stalls. UwU.

Going to the mall is also a fun moment for me. That's where we can find a place with a cool environment, haha. Like, we just visit there to look around and chill, though there are times too that we'll go back to my brother's apartment with food in our hands, lol. It's not in the plan, but yeah, eating should really be part of having fun outside. Right?

And even this overpass that I really hate, I had fun moments with them here as well. I remember those times they laughed at me because I got tired easily just by climbing up those many stairs, lol. But that's really a fun moment for me <(￣︶￣)↗.

Ahhh! Thinking about Lipa made me miss everything I did there with Mama and my brother. I also miss the place where we stayed, as well as this cute ginger cat here that I often see whenever we pass by to go chill and have fun outside. This ginger cat is living at my brother's neighbor's, lol. I finally had the chance to share these photos here. Lol.

Anyways, we only stay in Lipa for one week, but I'm already satisfied with it. The truth is, during the whole time we stay there, I can't help but think about Mindoro, particularly our town. It's just that, no matter how amazing Batangas is, there's still no place like home. I also miss my bed, actually, haha.

We're supposed to stay there for another day, but we decided to just go home. But this won't be the last time I'll visit Batangas. Hopefully, we can have another short vacation in there. As much as I want to try other places, that'll be too hard because we don't know anyone in other places. We don't know anyone in Manila, in Cebu, or in those big cities with beautiful spots. When going to a place, I prefer it if someone can guide us, and the only place where that is possible is in Batangas. To where my little brother lives. (ʘᴗʘ✿)
