Ladies of Hive Community Contest #270 - Keeping it light

@LadiesofHive Community Contest #270 questions for the week are:

1️⃣ Life is too short to worry too much: How do you like to start your mornings?
~ 𝐀𝐍𝐃 / πŽπ‘ ~
2️⃣ We would love to know what things make you laugh in your life. You can tell us?

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

Absolutely, life is too short to keep worrying and especially about those things where we do not have much of control. When we look back at our past and reflect on the situations where we worried too much, we would realize that it was not required. Things happen in it's own way, we worrying or not worrying is not going to change it much, rather worry creates more stress. If we would handle the same situation with a relaxed state of mind rather then worrying then the outcome would be much better.

My mornings start with a prayer and a few affirmations and Yoga, which I never miss. A prayer with Gratitude is something that I like to do first thing in the morning, following with my affirmations of what I desire to achieve in life, some stretching Yoga poses and a short meditation, this sets the tone of the day for me. After which I have no set routine, I just do some house chores and light activities. This is the way exactly how I like to start my day. I do not like to wake up and get into a rush of doing things. I like to keep the first hour light and after that pick up the momentum for the day.

When I was working in a full time job, it was painful. Life was running like a robot, wake up, get ready and go to work. Even when I would reach to my work place, I would still be feeling sleepy. Only after 1 or 2 hours I would feel active. There was no time to slow down, relax and do things. It was always a rush. Now I am in a different mode and it is so much better. I enjoy this relaxed slow paced life.

What makes me laugh?
To be honest, I can laugh very easily over anything and everything. A humorous joke, a comedy movie, fun time with friends and family everything makes me laugh. I can laugh all alone also and very loud if I am watching some funny movie. Sometimes I laugh even by remembering something funny that has already happened.

As the first question says life is too short to worry, it is best to laugh and live life heartily

What a magnificent strategy to start your day! Saying a prayer first, then yoga and meditation. You dedicate the first hour of your day to preparing your mind and body, and then carry out your activities without a specific order, so you don't get overwhelmed.

I think many of us in these posts find that smiles come naturally, so anything pleasant can make us smile, as you describe in your second reply. And we only have one life; it's better to live smiling, which has been proven to rejuvenate πŸ˜…, than to be grumpy, which has the opposite effect. It's always a pleasure to read you. Good luck in the contest. Blessings πŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌπŸ™πŸΌ

A little discipline in life is good and it has many benefits. Also I believe that Gratitude is a powerful tool for a wholesome life. Thank you for your reflection @cochanet

I think that's how life should be lived whenever the opportunity presents itself, keeping it light and letting the flow start itself instead of booting it up right in the morning. My brain is usually fully on in the afternoon to evening, always half awake in the morning.

Right! Eating food always slows one down from thinking clearly and doing productive tasks. Early to late evening is usually also a good time to get stuff done :)
