LOH #146 || A DIFFERENT DAY
Realmente la vida se encarga de mantenernos muy ocupados tratando de solventar todas las situaciones que se presentan a diario. En mi caso particular, suelo estar trabajando por muchas horas durante el día y algunas veces también hasta muy tarde en la noche. En realidad, me gusta estar ocupada, soy un poco obsesiva con el tiempo, me preocupo cuando siento que no estoy administrando el tiempo de la mejor manera posible.
Sin embargo, a pesar de esta obsesión, siempre trato de dejar algo de tiempo para el esparcimiento y el descanso. Por lo general es el día domingo el que respeto y guardo para reunirme y compartir con mi familia.
Life really keeps us very busy trying to solve all the situations that arise on a daily basis. In my particular case, I am usually working for many hours during the day and sometimes even late at night. Actually, I like to be busy, I am a bit obsessive with time, I worry when I feel that I am not managing my time in the best possible way. However, despite this obsession, I always try to leave some time for leisure and rest. It is usually Sunday that I respect and save for gathering and sharing with my family.
Esta semana quise hacer algo muy diferente y salirme de mi rutina y mi calendario laboral porque siento que mi cuerpo de verdad amerita un descanso. No obstante, los descansos en casa no suelen ser muy efectivos porque siempre surgen cosas que resolver y aunque esté alejada del trabajo, las ocupaciones del hogar suelen ser un poco más estresantes que las laborales.
Es por ello que decidí planear un pequeño paseo, justo en medio de la semana, por uno de mis lugares favoritos cercanos a mi localidad. Se trata del hermoso pueblo de Caripe a tan solo dos horas de distancia de mi ciudad de residencia.
This week I wanted to do something very different and get out of my routine and work schedule because I feel that my body really deserves a break. However, breaks at home are usually not very effective because there are always things to solve and even though I am away from work, home occupations are usually a little more stressful than work ones. That's why I decided to plan a little walk, right in the middle of the week, to one of my favorite places near my location. It is the beautiful town of Caripe, just two hours away from my home town.
Este pueblo es muy bonito y acogedor, tiene un clima muy fresco lo que resultó el lugar ideal para huir de la ola de calor que estamos viviendo en la mayoría de las ciudades de Venezuela. A mí me fascina visitar los pequeños pueblos de mi país, considero que cada uno tiene un encanto particular. En esta ocasión realice este paseo acompañada de mi hija menor y sus dos mejores amigos. Ellos estaban muy emocionados y lo disfrutaron mucho.
Fue un paseo muy especial porque pudimos recordar nuestros paseos por el pueblo cuando ella era tan solo una niña y ahora que ya es adolescente pudo apreciar mejor el paisaje y compartir con sus amigos. Por mi parte, tenía muchas ganas de cambiar de aires, aunque sea por un día, pude recargar energías y contagiarme un poco de la buena vibra y el animo de la juventud. Lo pasé muy bien y espero pronto darme otra escapadita.

This town is very nice and cozy, it has a very cool climate which made it the ideal place to escape from the heat wave that we are experiencing in most cities in Venezuela. I love to visit the small towns of my country, I consider that each one has a particular charm. This time I went on this trip with my youngest daughter and her two best friends. They were very excited and enjoyed it very much.
It was a very special trip because we were able to remember our walks through the town when she was just a child and now that she is a teenager she was able to appreciate the landscape and share with her friends. As for me, I was looking forward to a change of scenery, even if it was just for a day, I was able to recharge my batteries and get a little bit of the good vibes and the spirit of the youth. I had a great time and I hope to have another getaway soon.

Eso de la mitad de la semana realmente tiene sentido y recarga tus baterías jajaja, eso es algo bueno. Además, es genial salir con tu hija y sus amigos, parece que también fue divertido.

That middle of the week stuff really makes sense and recharges your batteries lol, that is a good thing. Plus it's cool to take your daughter and her friends out with you, that looks like it was fun as well.
