How do you recover from emotional pain or grief?
Emotional pain and grief are some of the hardest things to cope with, even harder than physical pain. However, everyone has had their share of difficult times, so pain is a part of life. That's why we each handle it differently, but I think we also have some things in common. For me, one of the best ways to cope with pain is to listen to my body. What I mean by this is that the human body cries for a reason. If our body feels like crying, it's because it needs to. Therefore, I've allowed myself to cry for a long time.
Many people feel socially pressured to not even show weakness and therefore don't allow themselves to cry. Some people tell themselves that crying won't solve things, but for me, crying isn't there to solve something; it's a natural reaction to release emotional stress. No one can avoid sweating when they feel hot, so crying has to be let out. For me, it's a form of pain relief. After crying, I feel the mental clarity I need to move forward. That's why, when I'm going through emotional pain, I'm able to continue doing my routine work or school activities, fulfilling my duties and commitments without problems, because I've allowed myself to cry when necessary.
I have also allowed myself to take breaks when necessary, a little break to rest, cry or sleep even after crying, makes it possible for me to think things through clearly afterwards, that way the emotional pain feels less like a burden and it is even possible to move on and after a while I can bear the grief without crying and it can even get better, on the other hand I understand that for some people it is difficult to cry but I think we should make the effort to let the tears out, because crying is not a sign of weakness, for me crying makes people stronger because after doing it they can have greater determination to do things.

It's crazy that some people still think crying is a sign of weakness. Like you said, it's a way to ease oneself from emotional pain and makes one stronger. My sister confessed that whenever she is stressed and emotionally challenged, she cries, and she feels better afterward. It's good that you allow yourself to cry and not suppress your feelings.
Men have more social pressure to not cry than women, but as every day women have even more burdens in society they also refuse to cry, it is necessary to cry even for health issues, the person who does not allow themselves to cry are even more likely to get physically ill, it is sad that people do not let their tears come out when they need to. Hugs! 😊

Come get MOONed!
I totally agree Sis.
It's a natural outlet to face grief head on and get it out of your system.
Internalizing and suppressing it is not a healthy long termed option.
In a deeper sense it would take a special courage to cry.
After a good cry can be followed up with a hug from a friend.

Emotions must be experienced and the grieving process must not be skipped. After relieving the body, the mind feels better and everything improves. Hugs
