My Thoughts On The Pink Month LOH Contest #258
Hello, my dear ladies of Hive.😊
Welcome to my blog! I love that one of this week's prompts asked us to share our thoughts based on the pink month. As we know, October is a month for creating awareness about breast cancer.
Of course, we all know that as women, we need to take care of ourselves, our health, and most importantly, our breasts, as well as be mindful of the kind of food we eat. And guys, breast cancer has become a very common sickness, which is sad. If I had a superpower, it would be the first disease I would eradicate.
Please, as women, you need to visit the hospital 🏥 from time to time for your safety, health, and also for the sake of your children. Breast cancer has made many children motherless, and sometimes this happens when we notice even small changes and consider them nothing, underplaying the situation.
The memory of my neighbor, who fell victim to breast cancer, is still very fresh in my mind. She was a great and wonderful person who never knew she had breast cancer until she started falling sick.
I remember visiting her at her house and couldn't hold back my tears when I saw her four kids. Sadly, even after surgery, she didn’t make it. She passed away, leaving her children without a mother.
I can't help but wonder: Could she have survived if she had found out in time? Of course, early detection can save a life. And possibly, she might still be with her kids today.
What I have learned about cancer and our overall health, guys, is that living a healthy lifestyle can make a huge difference. Adopting exercise into our routine, eating healthy, and cutting down on unhealthy foods—all of this can make a big difference for all of us.
We need to honor this month, women. If you haven’t been going for check-ups every six months, please start now. Pay attention to your breasts, never fail to inform your doctor of any changes you notice, and follow your doctor’s instructions and recommendations immediately.
My heartfelt thoughts go out to anyone and their family suffering from this disease, and my wish is that they find their healing.
These are my thoughts on the pink month. I am glad to share my experience, and I also thank you all for having me.
until I come your way again, bye for now @hauwee
