My Wish List || LOH Contest #140

Truly, our days are as perfect as our minds let it. One may find themselves in an amazing situation and still feel like something is missing while on the other hand others might feel just perfect given the same circumstances.

As each day goes by I have learned to enjoy everything it brings my way. Feel the experience and enrich myself, learn from the lessons and enjoy the goodness of it.

These past three days, I lost lots of sleep, I have been spending most of the time swinging Jr, he had a post vaccine fever couple with teething temperature. So, at night he sleeps so lightly and wakes up every now and then and once he does that the only place he derives comfort is on my shoulder.

Even in the midst of this, I found perfection in the fact that at least he could find comfort on my shoulder. I know this will only last for a few days and all I can do is to just be here for him. Make him comfortable as much as I can. This is inevitable, it is a sign of his development and growth.

So, if my Saturday is going to be perfect, it will start from a Friday where Jr could sleep calmly, no crying and crawling on my shoulder every now and then. Beautiful smile on his face while he blabbed trying to talk to me.That will make me catch some great sleep you know. A Saturday where mom could be here with us. To share in our meal and bond with his grandson. We miss her so much but we won't be visiting home till December.

The Adventures Part
We could finally tick ✔️ my wish lists. I have Kajuru Castle on my bucket list. "A luxury villa built between the years 1981 and 1989, at Kajuru (Ajure) village in southern Kaduna State, Nigeria. It was built by a German expatriate in Nigeria, living in Kaduna at the time."

So a perfect Saturday will be for me, Jr, Mom and hubby to explore the castle.

this is called the dungeon Tower.

Inside the castle is a bar and a cooking kitchen with a suspended pot in it. The kitchen is self service, so while coming here we will have to make arrangements for our own cooking. Which will make it funnier hehehe.

A swimming pool in the castle, and yes, if I'm up for it I will swim to my fill lol. This pool side provides a beautiful view of the Castle, the rock formations site, and the whole magnificent beauty of the castle.

The Dragon Tower. Named after the design of the Tower. Somewhere around the Tower is a crocodile as old as the castle itself. From here, hubby and I could go hiking on the rockside of the castle while mom and Jr could stay in one of the rooms we booked inside the castle. In the castle are five rooms that can be booked when one chooses to stay over.

It is a privately owned property, and it is charged for 20k(28$) in naira for an hour. Because we like to explore everything explorable, spending just an hour won't be enough so the whole of Friday and Saturday will make it just perfect. And that could cost from 300k - 500k in naira (408-680$) which is above our means currently, so for that this castle will still be on my wish list, and hope that someday I can afford to feel this fanciful medieval-inspired Romanesque style of the castle.
