My friend @marivic10, you can't imagine how grateful I am for the opportunity you're giving me to answer your questions. So, I'm taking advantage of this opportunity to showcase something I love to collect for this week's community contest #257: my wicker objects.

I don't remember if it was in this community or another where I once talked about them. It doesn't matter. It will never be enough.

I don't really like collecting anything. Not from a collector's point of view. However, I have noticed that, over time, I have acquired many objects that could be considered a collection, like these beauties I'm showing you today.

I've always loved wickerwork. That's why one day I bought my first wicker basket. On a trip to Camagüey, at a fair, I bought another one because I liked it. They're the two large ones like this one.

My cats love them.

I bought the smaller ones this year when I was traveling to Ciego de Ávila. In fact, I bought three: two for myself and one to give to a friend who lives there and was very kind to me.

I don't remember where I got the lamp, but it's one of my favorite things.

My cat's favorite has always been the basket. I don't remember ever having a cat that hasn't slept in them. They even fight over who gets to sleep in them.

This is the closest thing I have to a collection, and I didn't even think about it that way when I bought them. It wasn't until much later that I realized this little detail: and I liked it.

So, yes: I think so: my wicker objects are what I'm most proud to show you.
It's a collection that's both beautiful and useful. Don't you think?

Amiga @marivic10, no te imaginas cuánto te agradezco por la oportunidad que me das de responder a tus preguntas. Así aprovecho y muestro para el concurso de la comunidad de esta semana #257, algo que me encanta coleccionar: mis objetos de mimbre.

No recuerdo si fue en esta comunidad o en otra donde una vez hablé de ellos. No importa. Nunca será suficiente.

En realidad no es que me guste coleccionar nada. No del punto de vista del coleccionista. Sin embargo, sí me he percatado que, con el tiempo, me he hecho de muchos objetos que podrían considerarse como una colección, como estas bellezas que les muestro hoy.

Siempre me han gustado los trabajos con el mimbre. Por eso, un día compré la primera cesta de este material. En un viaje a Camagüey, en una feria compré otra, porque me gustó. Son las dos grandes como esta.

Mis gatas las adoran.

Las pequeñas las compré este año cuando estuve de viaje en la ciudad de Ciego de Ávila. De hecho, compré tres: dos para mí y otra para regalársela a una amiga que vive allá y tuvo muchas atenciones conmigo.

La lámpara no recuerdo dónde la obtuve, pero es de mis objetos preferidos.

El de mis gatos siempre ha sido la cesta. No recuerdo haber tenido a un gato que no se haya acostado a dormir en ellas alguna que otra vez. Incluso pelean por acostarse dentro de ellas.

Esto es lo más cercano que tengo a una colección y ni siquiera me lo plantié de esa manera cuando las compré. No fue hasta mucho tiempo después que me percaté de este pequeño detalle: y me gustó.

Así que, sí: Me parece que sí: mis objetos de mimbre son lo que más me enorgullece mostrarles.
Es una colección tanto hermosa como de utilidad. ¿No les parece?
