Hello, girls!

I'm continuing to answer the questions our friend @jane1289 brought us for this week's community contest.

I define myself, above all, by the intensity with which I feel the world. My main driving force has always been spirituality, that inner fire that can't be seen with the naked eye, but can be felt. Of the three options I have to choose from today, passion is, without a doubt, the one that provides the background music to my days.

Passion, emotion in the end, is that emotional force, sometimes a torrent and other times a whisper, that pushes me to create, to give form to the ideas that bubble in my head. Without this drive, my work would lack soul; it would just be a set of empty actions.
I'm driven by the need to express what's inside me, to connect with the intangible and capture it in something tangible. It's the best way to connect emotionally with the audience when I play the guitar.

However, I've learned, not without some resistance, that passion alone doesn't sustain a life. You can't make art when you're hungry. That's a recurring phrase from @abelarte, and he's right.
Anxiety about making ends meet can cloud creativity, poisoning the purity of the creative process.

That's where the financial benefits come in. I don't want them for luxury or accumulation (although that would be great), but for what they represent to me: the key. The key to independence.

This financial independence is the solid ground on which I gather the strength to run after my future.
It gives me the freedom to choose, to say no to what doesn't resonate with me, and to choose those jobs that nourish my spirit. The financial benefits give me the opportunity to create with peace of mind, since my livelihood and that of my family is secure.

Independence is not the end, but the means to independence. It is the physical and mental space where my imagination can run free, where my dreams cease to be escapist and become achievable projects. Which, after all, is what I'm passionate about.

In the end, I've realized that it's not about choosing one over the other, but rather about finding the balance, however unstable it may sometimes seem. Passion gives meaning and purpose. Financial gain provides the fuel and the tool. And independence is the liberated territory where both meet to flourish.

Continúo respondiendo a las preguntas que la amiga @jane1289 nos trajo para esta semana en el concurso de la comunidad.

Me defino, ante todo, por la intensidad con la que siento el mundo. Mi motor principal siempre ha sido lo espiritual, ese fuego interno que no se ve a simple vista, pero que se siente. De las tres opciones que tengo hoy para elegir, es la pasión, sin duda, la que pone la música de fondo a mis días.

La pasión, emoción al fin, es esa fuerza emocional, a veces un torrente y otras un susurro, la que me empuja a crear, a dar forma a las ideas que bullen en mi cabeza. Sin este impulso, mi trabajo carecería de alma, sería solo un conjunto de acciones vacías.
Me mueve la necesidad de expresar lo que llevo dentro, de conectar con lo intangible y dejarlo plasmado en algo tangible. Es la mejor forma de conectar emocionalmente con el público cuando toco la guitarra.

Sin embargo, he aprendido, no sin cierta resistencia, que la pasión por sí sola no sustenta una vida. No se puede hacer arte con hambre. Esa es una frase recurrente de @abelarte y tiene razón.
La ansiedad por llegar a fin de mes, puede nublar la creatividad, envenenar la pureza del proceso creativo.

Ahí es donde entran los beneficios económicos. No los deseo por lujo o acumulación (aunque estaría muy bien), sino por lo que representan para mí: la llave. La llave de la independencia.

Esa independencia económica es el suelo firme en el que tomo fuerzas para arrancar a correr en pos de mi futuro.
Me da la libertad de elegir, de decir no a lo que no resuena conmigo y elegir aquellos trabajos que alimenta mi espíritu. Los beneficios económicos me dan la oportunidad de poder crear con tranquilidad, pues mi sustento y el de mi familia, se encuentra asegurado.

La independencia no es el fin, sino el medio hacia la independencia. Es el espacio físico y mental donde mi imaginación puede correr con las riendas sueltas, donde mis sueños dejan de ser escapistas y se convierten en proyectos alcanzables. Que, al fin y al cabo, es lo que me apasiona.

Al final, he comprendido que no se trata de elegir una sobre otra, sino de buscar el punto de equilibrio, por inestable que a veces parezca. La pasión da el sentido, el propósito. El beneficio económico provee el combustible y la herramienta. Y la independencia es el territorio liberado donde ambas se encuentran para florecer.
