My Favorite Pets - LOH Contest #243 / Mis mascotas preferidas - concurso LOH #243 (eng-esp)

Hi, girls.
As always, I love participating in the contests held in the community.
If I could have pets? Or rather: if I could have all the pets I wanted... I'd have a lot, but I can't.
I've had turtles, chickens, cats, dogs, and parakeets, just to name a few. A few days ago, someone even offered me a rabbit 🐰. I almost accepted. I just don't have the skills to take care of it.
However, since I was little and until today, cats have always been the ones I've had in my house.

I love having kittens. Since the first day I moved into this house, almost 9 years ago, we've always had cats. Cats are amazing animals. They are very affectionate (although my husband says cats aren't affectionate; he's more of a dog person).
The best thing about these pets, since I have a lot behind the house, is that cats are a natural pest control.

Since the cats arrived, the frogs, mice, cockroaches, and other unwanted animals in the yard have disappeared.

I currently have three cats in my house: an adult male. He's the son of my previous cat and the two female kittens my husband adopted to give to me.

The male is a yellow cat, an excellent hunter who spends almost more time outside the house than inside.

Since he had his first girlfriend, he spends every night outside. Sometimes he comes home in the morning with cuts and wounds on his paws and face from fights with other cats.

These kittens are two sisters who came to brighten my life even more. Abel brought them at a time when I was still mourning my old cat, the yellow one's mother. She left one day, and I haven't seen her since.

So, since I was sad, Abel gave me these kittens, whom we named Nefertiti and Amateratsu.

And I think this answers the last question, about whether I would prefer a female or a male. I would always prefer females, since they are the mothers and the ones who can bring life and joy to this world, which is so in need of it.

Hola, chicas.
Como siempre me encanta participar en los concursos que se convocan en la comunidad.
¿Si yo pudiera tener mascotas? Más bien: si pudiera tener todas las mascotas que quisiera... tuviera muchas, pero no puedo.
He tenido jicoteas, pollos, gatos, perros y periquitos, por solo mencionar algunas de mis mascotas. Incluso, hace unos días me propusieron regalarme un conejo 🐰. Por poco lo acepto. Solo que no tengo las condiciones para cuidarlo.
Sin embargo, desde pequeña y hasta el día de hoy, lo que siempre he tenido en mi casa, han sido gatos.

Me encanta tener gatitos. Desde el primer día en que me mudé a esta casa, hace ya casi 9 años, siempre hemos tenido gatos. Los gatos son animales increíbles. Son muy cariñosos (aunque mi esposo diga que los gatos no son cariñosos, éll es más de perros.
Lo mejor de estas mascotas, ya que tengo un terreno detrás de la casa, es que los gatos son un control de plaga natural.
Desde que llegaron las gatas, desaparecieron las ranas, ratones, cucarachas y demás animales no deseados del patio.

En estos momentos tengo tres gatos en mi casa: un macho adulto. Es hijo de mi gata anterior y las dos gaticas que mi esposo adoptó para regalármelas.
El macho es un gato amarillo, excelente cazador que casi que vive más tiempo fuera de la casa , que dentro.
Desde que tuvo su primera novia, se pasa todas las noches en la calle. A veces llega por las mañanas con cortadas y heridas en patas y el rostro, por las peleas con otros gatos.

Las gaticas son dos hermanas que vinieron a a alegrarme aún más la vida. Abel las trajo en una época en que aún lloraba a mi gata vieja, la madre del amarillo. Ella se fue un día y no lo he vuelto a ver.
Entonces, como estaba triste, Abel me regaló a los estas gaticas a las cuales te llamamos Nefertiti y Amateratsu.

Y creo que esto responde a la última pregunta, sobre qué preferiría si hembra o macho. Siempre preferiría a las hembras ya que ellas son las madres y las que pueden traer vida y alegría a este mundo tan necesitado de eso.
